Worth the pay
Best to keep rice in water for 12-24 hrs before making. Make sure to sure to use rice cooker and some ghee for flavor. It’s very versatile and authentic. Why are people comparing smh

So yummy!
I’m surprised how different this organic rice is compared to supermarket “enriched rice”. I don’t have to rinse the rice and it turns out fluffy and yummy every time. No more trying to get my rice perfect, literally cool this with chicken broth in a sauce pan and it’s perfect every time! Sometimes I add Parmesan and heavy cream after it’s cooked to elevate the rice!

Cool color
Good! Just a handful mixed in with white rice made the whole pot purple.

How come I did not know about black rice earlier?!
As a vegetarian of 25 years I am amazed how did I not know about black rice. It tastes wonderfully. It’s gluey, fills you up, tastes as heavy in protein! I love it and will buy again.

Too pretty to eat and it’s nutritious and delicious!!
The media could not be loaded. Looks stunning and tastes delicious! It’s also much more healthier than white rice. The black rice has a deep black color and it turns deep purple once it’s cooked. I love mixing white jasmine rice with 1-2 Tbsps of black rice which gives it that deep purple color, than I let it soak for 2 hours before cooking ( this allows better digestion). It’s almost too pretty to eat, my family loves it!Fun Fact: Black rice is a nutritious, high-fiber, antioxidant-rich rice variety that's a staple in Asian diets. It's also known as forbidden rice or emperor's rice. In ancient China, black rice was reserved only for the emperor and royal family.I will most definitely be repurchasing this again.
