Have Patience
As others have already said. These plants take a while to germinate. From my experience, it took about 20 days for the seed covering to open and for a root to appear. Right after that, a small tuber(rhizome) appeared and on day 30 a small needle came up over the soil. Currently the plant is approx 1 inch tall. Just a single green needle. edit 08/17/2020 - I have 2 growing plants...been growing them under L.E.D. light..starting gain size, 4-5 branches about 4-5 inches long...doing well. edit: 5/28/2021 - I have added a photo of the 2 I'm growing 03/09/2021 - Still growing. Slowly because they are indoors. About 10 inches long and a bit sparse, but healthy.

Very disappointed. Not one seed I planted grew.
Not one seed I planted grew and I followed the directions. Not sure if they were old or what but nothing grew & I normally have success with planting & gardening. Very disappointed.

Give it time
I wasn't convinced these were growing -- after 3 weeks (the low end of the time stated) they weren't doing anything. I scraped the coating off a few of them and they started to sprout almost immediately, then the others started to sprout a 1-2 weeks after that. So far they're growing fairly well, definitely pleased.
