Works with Shure MV7
This lighting port works well with Shure MV7 so that I can connect the microphone to my iPhone. Like most reviews, I only wish the cord was longer, but it hasn't been that big of an issue. Well worth the price.

It is Extremely Short
In your mind, you may think 15" is enough. In this case, I do not think it is suitable for anything other than plugging in the mic and setting the phone directly underneath the mic.You will only be able to use this with a small desktop mic stand. Can not use it on a mic armI read inches as feet. My fault.However, with that said, it works great. So 5 stars.

Good quality, too short to use with phone
The media could not be loaded. Even though SHURE didn't create this cord to plug into your phone to talk, it does work good. However, it's too short for this purpose in my opinion. The MV7 sounds amazing but in 2024, a lot of creators want to use their phone with these high quality mics. HAVING A CORD that compatible with iPhone so you can simply use this mic with a phone, would be ideal.

Fit better than the original
I lost the cable that came with my Shute mv88+ so I ordered this one. The micro usb side of my old one fit very loosely and could fall out if bumped. New cable fits tighter and is not at risk of falling out so that’s nice. Kind of pricey but considering that literally nothing else uses this type of cable, I guess that’s fine.

Unusable / Short Cable
It's insane how short the cable is. Upon receiving the package, I couldn't believe it was something that was willingly being sold. I connected the cable from my laptop to the microphone, and the stand is side by side, touching my laptop, yet the cable is so short I can't even adjust the microphone to my liking. Due to the short cable, it has to be stuck in one position at all times, and I can't even move it an inch away from my laptop. I advise whoever's looking for a replacement to look elsewhere because it's not worth it.

Cable is way overpriced for the length.
The cable performs as stated but the cable itself is barely long enough. I have to only give three starts as the prices is outrageous for the length. I will say the cable performs well with my shire mic though.
