Underworks Pettipants Nylon Culotte Slip Bloomers Split Skirt 9-inch Inseam

I wear a 16W or 18 or 1X pant. My hips are 48". I went by the size chart and bought the XL. It fits perfectly. Length is great. Shorter lengths tend to ride up when my thighs rub. I've bought pettishorts before and loved them under dresses. Keeps me from chaffing when I walk. Particularly in hot weather. Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. The only other thing that works is shapewear, but that is uncomfortable. I'm not looking for tight and uncomfortable. I'm looking for breezy and lightweight. My shape is my shape. The reality is, being comfortable adds to feeling better which makes you act more relaxed and confident in your clothes and looking better.

I ordered size Large then read reviews of how some felt they fit a little loose at their clothing size. I immediately ordered Medium. The first order had already begun to process and it was too late to cancel. Both sizes arrived today and I'm glad I ordered Medium. At 5'2" and 140 lbs, they fit perfectly at the waist. Just a little longer than I'd hoped, but expected given my height. Didn't even open Large package and immediately contacted the seller about returning. Within just a few hours, I received an email from the company stating they would issue a full refund (issued as I typed this review) without the hassle of returning. Can't say that has ever happened before. Very impressed with the customer service. Happy with the product. Nice light, airy material perfect for my spring/summer dresses.

I bought these to wear under my tea length wedding dress (Gilded Grace in Champagne ^_^). They are super silky and so feminine! The color is perfect. Being plus size, normally I wear spandex shorts and a half slip under skirts and dresses. Not fun to wear so many layers sometimes! But these pettipants do the job marvelously to eliminate chafing and keep my skirts swinging. Obviously they aren't going to suck in and smooth out your figure, so keep that in mind depending on your outfit.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because they ripped in the crotch area after wearing the third or fourth time. The fit was excellent, not too big or too small. I didn't do anything that would warrant the tear that I'm aware of, so I don't know if it was a quality issue or not. Regardless, at this point I would buy again since the value is great and the product is effective. Overall the construction appeared solid...if I buy again and have further problems I will update.

Women do not know how lucky they have it when it comes to choices for lingerie. I am a guy and my wife bought these for me when i was looking for comfortable sleepwear for those hot summer nights. They are absolutely the most comfortable thing to wear. Silky smooth, feels great againsts my man parts. I can happily say she made a panty man convert out of me after wearing these. I will be buying more of these and other silky underwear for myself. I wish they would start making undergarments like this minus the lacy trim for men.

I am 5'9", 180 pounds, with a 34" inseam (I am very tall with a lotta leg). I ordered the XXL and they are HUGE. There is about 4 inches of space between the crotch of these and my actual crotch, unless I pull them all the way up, in which case the waist would be 2 inches above my belly button. I'm not sure if a smaller size would work. Since this wasn't sold by Amazon, I can't return them. So, I won't be trying a smaller size; I'll be trying another brand/style. I can tell you they seem to be made well. Shipping was fast and packaging was fine.

I remember wearing pettipants in the 1960s and was pleased to see that they're still around. Now that no one wears pantyhose anymore, these are just the thing to keep your legs from chafing under summer dresses. My college sophomore daughter asked for a pair, too, and loves them. My only complaint is that they're a little long on me. I'm 5'6" and thought the 9" inseam would be perfect, but I may actually have to shorten the pettipants to keep them from showing under some of my slightly-above-the-knee dresses.

While the material does allow outer garments to slide over it smoothly, I found that the legs would ride up and stick to me. My goal was to find something to combat the chaffing. Goal not met. I wish I could have returned these. Unfortunately, I had already washed them.

I already had a short version of one of these (from a different vendor) and it had a bad habit of riding up. I thought getting a longer one would solve that problem. I'm a size 12, which is solidly in the "large" category with every other clothing company I've ever seen, but the large on this one is a little big. Not so big that I can't wear it, but if I were to get another one, I'd go with a medium. I also had to cut off the inch-and-a-half or so of lace on the bottom so I could be guaranteed that it wouldn't show under skirts. I wish someone made a medium-length version of these, but the only options I seem to find are really short ones and then 9" inseams, which are practically capris.Edit: I got a second one in medium and it fits much better. They do still ride up, but since they're long to begin with, they only ride up to about mid-thigh, as opposed to ALL the way up with the shorter ones.

Great fit and value

As a big woman I have trouble with chubb rub when wearing skirts and dresses. These pettipants are the perfect solution! Made of slip material that is silky so that dresses/skirts do not cling to it.Great for all year round. I clicked 'fit as expected' but it should really be 'fit as hoped they would' ! I am actually a size larger than the largest size offered so I was keeping my fingers crossed! But I needn't have worried, the fit is great for me, so I guess they come up a bit on the large side, truth be told. It's a shame the shipping is more than the cost of the item , but until something like this is available locally in Canada, I guess I have no choice.

Have always preferred a culotte slip because it doesn't "crawl up" under dresses and skirts.
