Anthony's Organic Turmeric Root Powder, 2 lb, Curcumin Powder, Gluten Free & Non GMO (Pack of 1)

This is the second bag of Anthony's Turmeric and I like the product very much, it is totally organic and absent of any fillers or additives. The first bag had a wonderful aroma which was absent from the second bag but it's never the less a very good product. I add a tablespoon to my smoothies and it does not change the taste at all, mixes completely too. I have also purchased his Cumin which is also a very clean spice, strong and aromatic.

My 12-year-old pitbull was diagnosed with cancer in November 2021. Came out of the blue. They told me she had some sort of aggressive throat cancer that was causing some breathing issues for her. They said there was nothing that they could do for her And that she probably would not make it until Christmas of 2021. They wanted to put her down on the spot but I adamantly refused. I took her back to a holistic animal veterinarian around the corner from me who recommended turkey tail mushroom supplements. I’ve done my own research on the best diet for dogs with cancer and came up with a Recipe.I began cooking for her again like I used to do when she was a puppy. (I should’ve never stopped but work took me Away and I didn’t have time to continue until last year. )So, I began cooking for her again a special recipe that I concocted I just tweaked what types of vegetables are used in the mixture.Every morning, I add a teaspoon of turmeric, (this Anthony’s turmeric), three capsules of turkey tail mushroom supplement, some welactin oil (or EV olive oil) and some other things to the mixture. I give her the turmeric only in the morning. She was diagnosed with cancer in November 2021, before Thanksgiving. It is now September 2022 and I am counting my blessings for every day that she is still with me.We are taking it one day at a time. turmeric is supposed to have great anticancer properties and I was searching for a good quality organic turmeric powder to add to our food. So far, so good, knock on wood.She tolerates it well and it seems to be working well right now. I’m very satisfied with the product and the price point is good for the quantity. Turmeric is versatile in use and this product smells amazing and tastes even better. The package seals up well between uses with a small binder clip. Easy to use and turmeric is very versatile.
