I saw an ad on TV for this product & after research bought one for every member of my family that has a home. I have family who have lost their homes or have had severe damage due to a kitchen fire - this is a simple, quick solution- the ability to save property & more importantly, lives - is quite honestly one of those items that a lightbulb goes off in your mind: “why has no one come up with this idea before”? The material has existed but no one has ever put an effort into pushing it to the mass market that I’m aware of.The product is well made and thought out for ease of use for anyone in need of a quick response to an emergency - I know I’ve filled our kitchen with smoke from an overheated pan with oil or grease on the stovetop as well as the oven so we have ours hanging in a location with quick & easy access. The quality versus the price is a terrific value for your money. It comes with the quick & easily accessible bag, a hook (with adhesive on the back) plus safety gloves…..I think this is almost as essential for a home as a safety belt is for a car.

Ok, I'll be honest; I haven't actually put out a fire with these. But that's a good thing. The other good thing to know is that I have one in my kitchen and with this economical package, so do three other households. I've always kept a fire extinguisher handy, but this is my new go-to. I used the included hooks to hang one right next to my stove, for immediate access should the need arise.

I got these as an actuallu useful gift for families. The importance of having these in a kitchen or near your bar-b-que was just being reported. My families loved these as something more useful than just another cheap gift. The quality and design seem to be just right, and the storage hook keeps them close by when needed.

I used a fire extinguisher on a oven kitchen fire and it took well over a week to clean up the residue. I hope to never have to use the Fire Blankets but they are ready if I do need them. I put one in each of my cars and I gave my son several for his kitchen and cars as well. Again, Great Price and Great Service.

Nice fire blankets. I love that they come with gloves and hooks to hang up in my kitchen. Purchasing the multi-pack allowed me to keep a couple for my home, and give a few away to family members.

This is one of those products you want to have but never want to use! Great gift items for friends and family! Love the storing of it and the easy hanging process to mount close to where it needs to be!

I waited on buying these because the “branded” ones were so expensive and I wasn’t sure how the others, like these more affordable versions, would work. Finally, prime day in Oct, I pulled the trigger and bought the 10 pack. Kept two for myself and gave the rest to family. Today, we used two. One of them was used twice. First we put out the toaster fire inside the house. There were flames and it was in an area under the cupboard that wasn’t easy to get to so I just threw it at the fire and it went out. Then, 25 minutes later the toaster caught our hoses and hose storage on fire right outside our home. We use the kitchen one again, and I ran to get the upstairs one. I pulled so damn hard in that and had so much adrenaline but the hook held, the bag opened right up and out came the blanket in one smooth action. I have no idea how the bag stay on the wall. I had a teeny fire extinguisher and ripped two nails out of the wall before I ran to get the upstairs blanket. So, I just bought two more 10 packs. I am sitting here with a hose and watching this smoldering pile of rubber and plastic and thinking about every thing that could have happened and everything we could have lost…..If you’re worried these won’t work, they will. Or they did for us on two different fires. If you think you’ll wait for a sale, don’t wait! I paid the same amount today as I did on prime day. Spend the money— it could save your home or your life.If you see the pictures you will see the reason we needed the second blanket was bc the second fire was outside and was so big it brought 3 neighbors before we even know it was occurring and the first blanket knocked it down taking the massive risk of fire away from our house the second one and the fire extinguisher were just used until we could get water and get it moved away form the house and trees and piles and piles of dried leaves. No I didn’t use the gloves, in fact I gave them away bc I knew I would never stop to put them on. The hooks are awesome and make yanking this the two straps to get the blanket out easy.$45 for 10 of these is nothing! The first fire we put cost more in damage to our appliance before this blanket put it out and saved the rest of the house! No mess!I hope I never have to use it again but I hope this review can help someone else make the decision to get them sooner than I did! I am so thankful I got them last month!
