This is item that you wish you never had to use.We had this for when are old fur baby was ready to crossed the rainbow bridge. When the time came, it was very nice, and it gave us comfort to place him in this casket. We were able to place a few extra items in it before we sealed it closed.So glad we were able to give him a proper bearial.

This casket is made of a very durable plastic. The lid fits very snug onto the base by itself and with the sticky clay-like tape that is provided, when applied to the inside lip of the lid and pressed on firmly around every edge, seals the the casket from any odors from inside and any moisture from outside. The company lovingly provides a satin-like mat that lays inside and a satin-like lace lined pillow. Instructions are also placed inside for easy directions on how and where to apply the sealer tape. - Because of my seeing and feeling it’s construction I am now considering possibly creating a small mausoleum for my buddy instead of burial. - I am very confident that my dear friend of 16 years, my cat “Boo”, will rest without any degradation of this quality enclosure.

This served our purposes and the satin pillow case and sheet were so darling for our pretty girl. They were both pretty thin so I bought a cheap little cat bed to pad it (silly because she's deceased but it somehow made me feel better). My cat was small but somewhat chunky and she fit snugly in the medium one, the small would have been way too small. I would imagine only a teacup/toy size dog would fit in there. Also the amount of adhesive tape was kind of small compared to the size of the lid. My husband and I were worried it wouldn't seal but he got creative and made it work. Still, not something you want to deal with during an already devastating moment. My thoughts are with anyone having to make this decision, may the happy memories with your pet bring you comfort.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT WILL BE TOO SMALL IN THE WIDTH. My little girl dog died and I held her for awhile. She stated to stiffen and her rear legs made me need a 12 inch wide opening versus the 10 inch wide opening on the small box. I returned it and await a Medium size. She is like my little daughter. I had her 12 years. Not long enough.

Size medium was thre perfect for our mini daschaund! Our dog may rest in eternal peace.

I am returning due to size . The 8” depth was not accurate . The item is lovely so am reordering a larger size hoping that the measurements are more true onInner depth

Sadly, both of our beloved terriers passed of old age and we were going to use this to bury them. A legit casket for pets though- but we did not use it and sent it back. Why? Well we went with cremation and interment plans at our own private plots we own for our carcasses. This would stand the test of time and if you plan to use and burry your pet in one- it would be a lasting grave. They are perfect for a small terrier or Yorkie for sure.

We were unprepared for the sudden loss of our beloved pet. We searched locally for a container for proper burial, but found nothing. Searches on Amazon were more successful, but would not arrive in time. Thankfully, Pet Memory Shop store had a container in the right size and promised delivery in one day. True to their promise, the container arrived the next day and in excellent condition. We were touched by the soft pad and pillow included with the container. We used a black Sharpie to write a tribute on the cover to our faithful companion and then placed him in his final resting place. Our vet advised us to bury the container 3 feet down and said the fact that this container is not biodegradable was actually a good feature. Our pet was given medications that could be toxic to wildlife had the container been biodegradable. Thank you for giving us peace of mind during a very sad time.
