The first book arrived completely smashed. 3 days later, I received a perfect gorgeous book! Great coffee table book. Very nicely written. Love the gorgeous pictures. It was worth the wait! 5 stars!

Great coffee table book for that little pop of color! Worth the buy, especially if you have neutral-colored decor at home.

As someone who ADORES the Ralph Lauren aesthetic I absolutely had to have this book. Alan Flusser chronicles the man behind the mystique in such a way that I really came away feeling like I had my finger on the pulse. The text in this book is succinct and appealing. No pretension or droning on about fashion design, because let’s be honest - the visuals in this book speak volumes! The photos, the details, the way this book is laid out is wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Ralph Lauren an American icon.

I borrowed my Friends because she just had as a coffee table decoration, and was in WOW by how clear the pictorial's were - and also the littature was amazing - a read and actual have a few I put on my coffee table as well. This book specifically has the best of both worlds with the Plaid Cover and just whats inside.

I enjoyed this book and its illustrations and would recommend it to the fashion curious. Minus one star for the flagrant, laughable overuse of the word "sartorial". Yes, it applies to RL and his industry, but I soon began to laugh at its constant repetition. Buy a thesaurus, for crying out loud. At times the book seemed to spiralinto an unabashed advertisement all things RL. I didn't know RL was a butt sucker. (That's my term of derision for a smoker.) Many pix showed RL with a little cancer stick in his fingers. Maybe he's since quit. Still, I enjoyed the book and salute RL's well-earned success.
