Kids love this book
Grandson gift. He loves it and already memorized the word. Teaches them to read aloud with inflection and nuances of words.

Great book!
My granddaughter kept taking this book out of her school library because she loved it so much. Purchased the book for her birthday and I can see why she loves it so much. What a great little book!

The ***MY*** Book with no pictures is a great hit!
Gifted this to my DIL and she had her 13 yr old and 3 yr old help fill in the blanks. They had a great time collaborating, but having daddy read it out loud was a side-grabbing, laughing-almost-on-the-floor, epically -hysterical event!!!! Definitely ‘worth more than gold’ for this family experience. Might need to repurchase for another run!

How Creative!
Such an amazing gift for children who enjoy to read BJ NOVAK's "The Book w| No Pictures". I got 2 copies, as I am a Nanny as well as an Aunt and I let my little kiddos go crazy with their imagination and silly words! It is a household favorite, read practically every evening. Definitely 10/10 and wouldn't mind to find more like this.

Creative
I love fil in the blank style books so kids can start out as authors of their own stories. I wish it was a dry erase book so they can write their story but change it.

Excellent book to spark creativity and imagination!
We bought this book as a Christmas gift for our 6 year old daughter because the original “Book with No Pictures” is one of her favorites. She absolutely loves adding her own fun and creative words and takes pride in feeling that she is adding to a “real” book. It’s fun for us, as her parents, to hear her giggling away at the table as she writes her own words and then to see her run over with excitement so we can read her work. I love the creativity this book sparks and our daughter is already making plans to write a book of her very own when she finishes filling in “My Book with No Pictures”. I highly recommend this funny, imaginative book!

Super fun book
We loved the original "The Book with No Pictures". When my 7-year-old daughter saw this book, she immediately wanted it and said that she already had ideas of what she would write. This book allows the kids to co-author the book with B.J. Novak with fill-in-the-blank spaces. My daughter was so excited to write her own entries and then as the rules of the book state, the adults have to read what the book says. When I read the book out loud with her entries, we both laughed out loud throughout the entire book. She asked me to read it three times in a row. When she has play dates, she asks me to read the book to her friends too.

My daughter loves me to read this to her
We read a lot of books in our house. Our youngest are 5 & 7 and they love the way mom reads some stories and the voices I add to others. its a fair deal for both of these kiddos. We got this book for Christmas 2019. Wow!The laughter from my children as I make the noises and sounds that I "have to say" in this book is great! Mo needs to write more books. He and his team do a great job.If you are a serious person and your kids need to see the silly side of you from time to time.. this is the one for you!!!

Great item, dirty product
This was supposed to be a gift. I have bought it several times but this time it arrived filthy. There are black finger print marks that cannot be removed. A really disappointing purchase. It is a great book but it would be better to buy it in person or a better seller.

Awesome book for youngsters
My niece and nephew loved creating their own story. The funny words in this book make the kids laugh. It really encourages literacy and understanding of what reading is. I highly recommend this book!

teaches phonological awareness in a fun way!
Phoneme deletion is a key task in phonological awareness activities and is a critical skill for emerging readers. This book teaches the skill of phoneme deletion in such a fun way!

What was I expecting?
My daughter LOVES The Book with No Pictures, so this seemed like a no-brainer for her 5th birthday. Sure enough, she was thrilled and wanted to get started right away. She even insisted on writing everything by herself! I was feeling pretty proud of myself for such an educational gift, until it became clear what kind of book my daughter was writing. Now, I have to read a book about ‘poo’, ‘pee’, ‘toots’ and ‘boogers’, because ‘whatever the book says, the person reading it has to say. That’s the rule. That’s the deal’. My daughter thinks it’s hilarious, and I’m certainly glad it was a hit, but…ugh. What was I expecting?
