Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville - Xbox One

Best Plants vs. Zombies game yet! Incredible clarity, details on the characters, and several new characters and background scenery. This is a great gift for kids 7 years old and up to 21 years of age. Even older kids/adults will enjoy this game. There is no "real" violence. It's sunflowers, and mushrooms, and oak trees (and other plant characters) fighting against zombie football players, zombie scientists, and zombie disco dancers, and other zombies. It's funny and it's fun. There is no blood. These characters, Plants and Zombies, battle each other for control of the locality in which they are playing (i.e., a carnival, or a park, etc.). My kids have many video games and this one (which is the third and newest in a series of Plants vs. Zombies video games) is the best. If you are looking for a gift for a child in the age range of 7 to 21, this is a great gift!

I was hesitant to buy thinking it would be too much like the previous game... it has basically the same concept as well. But this new game flows better, if that makes sense.Plus the upgrades to the characters and more customizable options etc. It’s almost like fortnite or a similar game where you can create your character and go play the games. It’s more unique than just a standard character like the last game. Also the money and gems are, in my opinion, easier to get on this newer game. My 7 year old will still play the old game sometimes but this new one is definitely worth getting. I was able to get it for $20 around black friday time and ended up getting two so her and her dad could play co-op.

This franchise is so consistent, they really don’t get enough credit for what they do.Just like the Garden Warfares you can jump right in the action and go any direction you want - Story, Multiplayer, tons of game modes, tons of game content and stuff to unlock. You really get the value of this game and although it looks cartoonish it has a challenge for any skill level of player. Don’t think about it anymore - get battle for neighborville!

Such a fun game and so many things to do. Me and my kids absolutely love this version. Took a minute to figure out the layout cause the game isn't like the original. Just has the characters and plots (obviously). Destroy the zombies.

A fun exciting game for 8 yr old. I am not pro on violent games with guns and this game is a perfect compromise that is appropriate for age and the game incorporates comical situations in the game. I find myself sometimes sucked in watching them play this game.

A fun shooter with a fun vibe and good depth. Has co op and competitive, as well as some light single player to round out the package. Recommended!

I bought this for my 8-year old grandson for his birthday, and he gave it a "thumbs up" and a FIVE-STAR RATING!! I bought it because it was rated E for everyone, and he has a few games that are pretty violent. I wanted to get him a game that was action-packed without the blood and gore.. I highly recommend for kids of all ages!

I played for about a month and it got really old. Unlike its garden warfare counterparts, this just lacked a plants vs zombies feel to it. It also seemed like it was made more for kids than prior games. Ended up selling it after a few months.
