I needed two of these urgently to blank off valves that wouldn’t fully turn off so I could remove cast iron radiators. The threaded diameter is 1 1/4” so this equates to 1” BSP. As a bonus these also arrived with a sealing gasket ring so no need to put PTFE tape on the threads. Perfect!

Good quality

Wanted 1", packet marked as 1", but size is actually 1.1/4". Not worth sending back, so another part for my plumbing spares.

Does what it says

Quality product but wrong size.Label on packaging says it's 1 inch which is what I needed, unfortunately the item is 1.5 inches (see photo)This seems to be a common issue amongst the many reviews, thought it would've been sorted out by now?I have returned item as it's of no use to me, wouldn't have bothered if it was only a couple of pounds but product wasn't cheap.

Bought as end plate for walking stick. Fitted just right. Screwed on and secured with epoxy glue. Still on!

This is indeed a 1" BSP end cap and it fits perfectly. I've seen comments complaining about the diameter. People don't realise that the BSP standard refers to historic pipe inner diameters not the thread.

Rated 1 star because you have to but wouldn't give any if possible. Item not the size as advertised. Measures 1 1/2 inches not 1 inch. Therefore totally useless
