These filters work well to keep my turtle tank water clean and odorless. I have been using them for a couple of years and if changed regularly, water stays clear and fresh.

These are the cartridges that are used in my waterfall filter that I have in my 20 gallon long turtle aquarium. I think they work very well!! The waterfall filter does require two cartridges though and I just recently got it so when I went to the pet store to get replacement cartridges and saw they were $13 for one box of 3 filters I knew I needed to find another buying option. I was thrilled to find these at under $3 a box! Even though there is a minimum order of 2 boxes I’m still way ahead! I bought 3 boxes for less than I’d have spent on just 1 box! So needless to say, the value is excellent! I also have been very happy with their performance. Turtles are very messy animals, even when they’re babies like mine. Her tank has never been even a little bit cloudy aside from the first 2 days after setting up the tank for the first time, but that had nothing to do with the filter, it was new tank syndrome and once the good bacteria developed it cleared right up and thanks to these filters (and cleaning of course) it’s staying that way. It was suggested to me to replace the filters every 3 weeks, but after a week and a half the cartridges are still working perfectly. At 3 weeks I’ll evaluate again. For turtles replacement will be more frequent, but if you have less messy animals or fish you probably won’t have to do it so often. So overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and definitely recommend 💖

These are the best filters I’ve ever used. I wish they were reusable but I’ve tried others and they just don’t work as well. Took off a star because of how awful it arrived.

Maybe I'm daft, but I've been using these things for about 6 years now (love them - they keep my 3 striped mud turtle & stinkpot/musk turtle tanks nice & clean), but I just realized that those clips on the top of the bags actually come off. What their description doesn't say is that you can take the plastic "skeleton" insert out, turn the whole thing inside out & wash it. Do this over a bowl though, the little black carbon pellets will come out - which means you can replace those & save a ton of money. Instead of replacing the whole filter every 4 weeks like they suggest, wash it out, and only replace it when the bag is falling apart.

I feel that if a product works well then why change it??? I've been a custom for a few years now and it's nice to know that when it's filter time for Andrew my turtle I know for a fact that I bought not only a trusted and proven product, but that I never have to worry about a filters quality being cut in half and the prices double in the same statement..... It's worth every star given. Quality product, for a really fair price.

Tetra's Medium Filter Cartridges are fantastic! Easy to install, efficient filtration, and long-lasting. Keeps water clean and odor-free. Highly recommended for reptile tanks.

Son buenos aunque no duran tanto como hubiera pensado, solo tengo una tortuga y tengo que cambiarle el filtro cada semana o a lo mucho cada 15 dias, lo cual para mi es lo mismo que antes ya que lavaba la pecera justo cada 15 o menos

I ordered the filter as well from Amazon. Works well to clean the water in my turtle tank. Easy to install/ replace. A bit pricey than my local store though.
