The powder arrived promptly and was well packaged. The powder does have a vinegary odor to it. I have to use a very small amount as it is a high potency strength (which is a good thing). I mix it in juice to mask the odor/taste. We have to redo the lab work to check if taking this product increases the carnitine levels, that is the only reason I am giving it a 3 star for now. Hopefully it does!!

Vital Nutrients Acetyl L-Carnitine Powder was recommended by my son's naturopathic doctor as part of an overall natural supplement treatment plan for ADHD. The powder is convenient to take. We found it best when mixed with apple juice. It natually has a strong apple cider vinegar smell/taste and the sweetness of the apple juice makes it very easy to drink.

Easy to use
I bought this product because my husband had difficulty swallowing and had too many pills to take. This powder form is easy to use and dissolves with just a few stirs. We are pleased with this alternative to capsules.

Working on getting past the strong vinegar taste.
The vinegar odor and taste is so strong with this supplement. The label does warn you about it, and recommends using in juice - but we rarely have juice around the house so I mixed it into my coffee the way I do my other supplements - wow it is so strong.I know why they recommend juice - because the acidity of the juice will neutralize the vinegar taste. I love powdered supplements because it's less capsules - but this is one that maybe should be in a capsule. I'm going to try adding lemon juice and a few other things too because the reputed benefits of this supplement are really phenomenal.
