Politically Incoherent

I've known Mike for a while now, and have been lucky enough to record with him and to witness his production skills in action. I've followed his work being broadcast on the Stephanie Miller Show and always listen to his new bits when they are first tweeted. Despite all that, my initial reaction to this first album was that I had no idea of his range; I was simply blown away. The album contains some old favorites, like "Tea Party Harmony" and some wonderful new pieces. I do not recommend eating or drinking the first time you listen, some of the best jokes come out of nowhere.Rocky Mountain Mike is the first to tell you about the 25 talented individuals who helped deliver this wonderful material. That says a lot about him as a person -- that he can sweet talk that many very talented folks into donating their valuable time to be a part of his first album. What you may not know is that Mike is also a versatile musician who plays many instruments. He recorded and mixed much of the album's music himself. His wit is sharp and smart. Bit after bit, his writing delivers. He did all the audio mixing, as well. This album has been a great showcase for his many talents. Many thanks to Marshall Blonstein, of Audio Fidelity, for giving Mike this opportunity so the rest of us could laugh and laugh and laugh.I strongly recommend this album. You'll laugh deeply and want to listen again and again to catch all the smart jokes he tucked in. It will make a great gift, as well; everyone needs a good laugh. I know I am not alone in wanting this to be the first of many Rocky Mountain Mike albums to come.

This is the best political satire audio in context of imagery , familiarity of contemporary and even older brain washing schemes of the " good ol' days " . Techniques indeed, before those who have perpetuated studies of [repeat a falsehood until it becomes the golden truth] , those of the knowledge and awareness knew how to manipulate a group.From Sarah Palin to the rustic- turtle -stinky brain, rockin' the collisium with group dog whistle ideology. It's all there in these beautifully crafted mp3's. Id buy .wav if it was available, but, I keep this on my play list for all time. Can't wait for the next album. They say it'll be out soon, because some political icons are not as funny the 3rd time around, others like Palin are contemporary /timeless. Bachmann needs a spot in this fun house.

Politically Incoherent is hysterically funny. It's political satire at it's best. Bit's like Tea Party Harmony, Obama Derangement Syndrome, parodies of Tom Brokaw by Jim Ward are spot on freaking hilarious. The production of the album also stands out well balanced and mastered and boy it real adds the the fun of the album. Rocky Mountain Mike can be really proud that he's gone from a small bits of humor to whole album that is really good and fun to listen too. Great Voices all through out and make me think some of these were real commercials for TV and Radio. Well done folks, well done!

If you love The Stephanie Miller Show, the Sexy Liberal Tour, or if you just like clever, liberal humor, this CD is for you. You might even like it if you're closer to the middle of the aisle. If you're a conservative, give it a spin anyway, if for no other reason than to see just how lame Rush Limbaugh's parody artist really is. Rocky Mountain Mike is unequaled in this category. Buy it!

This may be the worst toaster I have ever bought; it doesn't even cut the crust off the bread for you. But, this is probably one of the best CDs of political satire available. I especially liked the "Rick Perry History/Mitch McConnell", and the "Sarah Palin's Story of America" cuts. Rocky Mountain Mike is proving to be one of the funniest satirist writing today, and this album is proof of that.

TOO FUNNY, as a child of the 60's70's 80's and 90's these tunes are fantastic. i know the old lyrics but LOVE LOVE LOVE the new POLITICALLY INCOHERENT ones. Thank you Rocky Mountain Mike. If I could give this 10 stars I would. can i rate it again? A must have for any thinking political junkie, or someone who enjoys funny new lyrics to old songs.

The hilarity that is Mike's mind is on display here. How he thinks these bits up so quickly never ceases to amaze me. I'd list my favorites, but there are too many (oh, ok, a few of them.. - Constar, It's My Party, Redstatetta Stone, RW Troll Notification Test...)All the voices heard are spot on and having Jim Ward "voice deity" is an added treat.Fun stuff!

This CD is great. If your a liberal minded person and have to listen to right wing trolls all day. You will laugh your butt off. Then when you are around the trolls again. They might think your a little crazy, because your laughing at them. Buy this CD. BUY IT. Obama signed in a new law. You have to buy this CD. I just heard this on Fox.
