I bought this for out toy Poodle that was born with a shoulder problem that causes her legs to splay out on slick floors. This helps a lot, it just took time for her to get used to it. I bought the smallest they had, but had to modify it by sewing on more velcro so the support strap could go lower on her legs.

Just didn't fit right! Wouldn't stay in place to protect poor Zara's elbow! Used pieces to make a device that fit and covered her elbow. I would not recommend! This is a real unsolicted review, I received nor asked for incentives of any kind for this review!

Purchased this for our senior dog who has severe arthritis in her rear legs, she can barely walk & elbow joints are taking the brunt of the weight distribution. Her elbows need the support. This one appeared to be a good option because it sits higher up on the leg to stabilize the actual elbow & not just lower legs. There really isn't honestly any "support" per say just kind of more or less holds things in place but it's just neoprene with velcro. It was kind of a jumbled mess as the whole thing is in so many pieces whereas it should be stitched together in my opinion with one side offering the adjustability. There are no instructions or pictures included and as you can tell the product pictures are on a stuffed animal. Kind of pathetic. Really has strange odor too, probably because of course its made in China.

Not for a great PyreneesToo many parts and it appears one of them was sewn backwardsI got it for the price I needed something fast but she was in more pain after I put it on and it made her stumble was probably not the right thingAnd the diagram was hard to decide the names for what they gave things in the measurement areas I did not find clear enough. my dog has a lot of furSince my dog is heavier I needed an up and over the shoulder back area put into the measurements it appears that the things on the legs worked but the chest did not and up and over the back definitely did not Instead of Velcro it needs to be adjustable straps so the hair doesn’t get caught in the Velcro or adjustable straps with clips Would work better

I’m having to return the product for a smaller size. I measured, and remeasured, but, apparent it’s too big for my dog. I have a French Bulldog and he wears a medium jacket, borderlines on wearing a large. But, this brace runs large. I’m hoping the small I just ordered will be small enough.The product itself looks like a good deal. Good fabric. Reminds me of my neoprene sweat pants. That’s the only thing I’m a little concerned about (other than size) is that it’s going to be hot in that thing.But, the design is pretty good and looks pretty good for what I need it for. He had a injury to his elbow area and now he’s shifting weight to his other leg so much that it’s getting bruised.I can’t wait to see if it really helps. I will update this review as soon as I know.UPDATE: Too small. The small is like a Very Small. Plus, the bottom Velcro strap wasn’t very good and would barely hold together, anyway. Have to return mine. My Frenchie dog is an awkward sized, so, that’s part of the problem.

We put it on our chiweenie who sprained his shoulder almost a week ago after a vet visit and some pain meds. It's forcing him to not favor the other leg and ges not trying to mess with it at all which means it must be helping him.I would suggest buying two because the strap that goes over the back wasn't long enough. I bought two and just used the two together. 😉

The photos for measurement should be on an actual dog and without the brace so that you can see the anatomy for proper measurement, plus current photo cuts off the legs so hard to tell the relationship between the paw and bottom of brace. Consequently the brace did not fit correctly. Instructions on applying and proper fit would also be helpful.

We took in a little toy poodle who was 14 years old. 2 weeks after we had him he pinched a nerve in his neck. Which made one of his legs not so stable and I could tell it hurt. I ordered this and used just one side. He walked around so much happier with it on. Well he wouldnt actually try to walk and not scream.
