Excellent product
Sturdy, well built, good quality materials. Easy to use and maintain. Cons; 1) pricey ; 2) side hole on elbow which tends to kink the air hose and sets it in an awkward position (I modified mine by drilling a centered top hole).

Not for all Cichlid typed
Got this for my convicts and with modifications it works for them. This is for mouth brooders and not tiny egg laying cichlids though the title says it is for cichlids. I got this when I was new to eggs and fry but now I have learned. Even had my sister get them for her cory cat eggs. Suction could be better but it is usable.

Heavy duty and great product
Thick construction. It will hold up very well. However, right after I bought it, I moved my betta macrostoma to a new tank without covering the top completely, and the male jumped out and died overnight. So I need to get another pair before I can use this. I may try it with my alestopetersius brichardi in the meantime, but it was bought specifically for my macrostoma. It feels well-constructed though and I should have no problems using it!

Excellent product
The media could not be loaded. Small inexpensive and works very well. I like the size, it fits into the corner and adds extra flow to the aquarium. You want the eggs to move or rock and may kick up a little not blow around. As the eggs develop they will just end up rocking on the bottom. Bristlenose pleco eggs kept coming out of the cave. I'm very glad I ordered this.

Egg killer
Worst thing ever not ever putting eggs back in this thing. Has killed over 2 dozen peacock eggs, 2 dozen electric yellow mbunas, dozen Johanni eggs and dozen OB mbuna eggs. Throwing away this junk after I figure out how to fix me tugging for my aquarium
