I've used these types of paint pot filters before. Thus time we were dip-staining a couple hundred 1x6x6's for our fence. Sometimes we would drain the DIY made drip tank. Eith use of a hard funnel, these came is quite handle to stain out the wood dust and splinters before the excess went back in to the 5 gallon pale.
