As other reviewers have noted, it's too tight at the corners and could lift off your screen protector. Because of what I read about this case, I bought the MaxBoost Glass that specifically says: "Special Note: Due to the rounded design of the iPhone 5S 5 5C and to enhance compatibility with most cases, the ballistic glass does not cover the entire screen." And it doesn't cover the entire screen - there's a tiny fraction of space, 1 mm at most, all around the protector.Well, that's too much for this case - it lifted off all four corners, in one corner by quite a bit, far too much to be OK with. This is the fault of NewTrent - the screen protector shouldn't cover any less than it does, but the case doesn't have to intrude so far over the corners to do its job. So I did what others have done: using my Exacto knife, I shaved down the inside corners of the case by about 1 mm, I guess. After two tries, it's much better - just very small lift-off remaining in a couple of places, so I'll have to shave a bit more.The shaving doesn't seem to loosen the grip of the case on the phone at all, so NewTrent could cut back the corners themselves.I quickly found out how to put it on easily if it isn't obvious to others here - put it over two adjacent corners first, and then push the bottom of the case near the remaining corners. This will push the case corners out so you can then get them over the phone. Getting the case off is a little struggle, but after two shaves I'm getting better at it. Probably warming it up a bit would help it stretch easier.Otherwise, this seems to be a great case. I have to push harder on the volume buttons but they still work fine. But the power button is a problem - I can't always make it work, have to fiddle around with it because the plastic on top of it is just too thick - probably have to cut a hole in it. The charging and headphones port also are wide open - no blockage. There is no case out there that can improve on the sleek, attractive design of the iPhone, and this clear case is grippier than the phone itself, which kept slipping out of my hand, moreso than any iPhone I've had. So I think this case will work. And it's not over-priced.

I have a 5S and love the fit and feel of this case. I also really like being able to see the design elements of the actual phone instead of an opaque case. The case seems well made and has expanded corners to protect the phone. Time will tell how it holds up, but for now, I'm a very happy customer and will likely order another when it's time to upgrade my phone.Update: This past weekend my fur babies managed to knock my phone off of a table it was resting on while charging and on to the concrete, not once, but twice! The top of the table is approximately 2.5-3 ft off the ground. The phone survived and the case still looks perfect! Excellent case! Highly recommend!

This is my first IPhone, and I've since been told that I should have bought something that is much heavier-duty, but so far this little case has protected my phone, which I have dropped several times (fortunately not into water!) I would never buy something like this at an AT&T or Verizon store. Amazon gave me a great deal here.

It was my favorite case for my iphone 6s but the power button is hard to press on the 5s case.

It makes me feel secure that if the phone falls, it won't break. It's not the clunkiest cover I've ever had, but it does add a dimension that prevents the phone from looking sleek, but better safe than stylish

Works good, last a long time. Has nice bumper corners and you can see color of phone through clear case.

I was pleased with the bumpers on each corner that prevents my phone from landing flat. The material is nice, thick and very clear that allows my phone to shine through.

Since putting it on it's already absorbed some pretty wicked drops that the Amazon case failed at. The thick corners and raised from lip really do a great job of protecting the phone while the appearance and the feel are really nice.
