This was purchased to replace an older LTS system which was very cumbersome and difficult to operate. This was left for our use by the sellers of our home.The set up for the news systems was easy, with excellent resources online for questions.I had problems with the existing cameras powering up, which turned out to be a bad power source not related to the device. I did send an email prior to discovering the issue with the power source, I received a reply asking for details less than 60 inutes later on a weekend.The app is excellent as well.Very happy with this system, the box is smaller and much quieter than the LTS system.

I had an old dripstone dvr that was failing. I've had that unit for years. It replaced a samsung set up I got from Costco that had 8 cameras with it, of which we're only using 6. We wanted something that connected to those same cameras and still allowed easy viewing and replaying from the app. Upon install, the camera's came up immediately. However, the monitor connected to the device kept going off. Then the unit started rebooting. I could not get it stop. With it being Sunday and later in the evening, I planned to contact tech support the following day. However, later that night, the rebooting stopped and the unit is working perfectly now (other than the connected monitor still has no picture). We've had this unit for a few weeks now and have been able to view cameras and play back with the app very easily. I guess I don't really need to view them on the monitor anyway. The only reason we had a monitor on the old system was to get in and configure the device. Anyway, right now it's working and we are able to remotely view and playback video. And the app is much quicker than our old dvr. So far, we're happy with this purchase. It was definitely cheap enough.

The DVR was purchased to replace an old Defender Security System DVR with CCTV cameras, and was easy to set up and meets expectations in terms of performance and general functionality with helpful observations.Observations1. The remote viewing software is a bit basic and is somewhat slow to refresh, but it does do the job.2. Customer service is reliable but they seem to be in another part of the world from the U.S.; takes 12 hours for a reply from them.3. The user manual is basic and with minimal content, but the on-line help makes up for that with copious self-help videos.

This is my second Zosi home security system. The first failed after about two years, including me needing to replace the fan after about 6-months.The new second system that I purchased never synced with my mobile phone. I worked with their support team via email for a frustratingly slow two weeks. Tried to update firmware and other methods, but finally I am giving up and returning the product.Over the past two years, I often found that when I tried to access the cameras from my mobile phone is was usually about a 50/50 that the device would be online. The system was hard-wired into the network, and internet is reliable, so the issue was on Zosi's side.I would not recommend, other than it is a lower cost product..... you get what you pay for.

The purchase of this item was an excellent decision. The picture quality is excellent, the hard drive is of an excellent quality, and was a good value for the money, the DVR has excellent picture quality video quality, and motion feature is well worth the purchase price.

Product was working just fine until my internet updated to fiber and I got a new router. Then the DVR kept showing offline in the app and the cameras wouldn’t show. JAR helped me figure out the problem. JAR is very patient and provided pictures to help guide me. Finally figured out the issue and got it resolved!!! I live in Texas, USA, and based on the agent availability, I assume they are across the world because agents were only available to chat either in the morning or at night (my time).Just fyi…

I first bought a 1Tbt dvr package with 4 cameras, then added 4 more cameras. That was 5 years ago when I first bought the old, falling down house I'm in to start renovation of. It did everything I needed it to.A couple months ago, the director started having issues with shutting down and restarting. No worries. With the amount of dust and debris I generated regularly over the last 5 years, I'm surprised it lasted so long.It did well enough that I decided to just replace the dvr with a new 2tbt system since I already had everything else. The initial login was having issues, so I emailed the customer support. Within 15 minutes, I had a response with a solution that worked.Fully satisfied and happy to say so.
