Where's the snitch straps...it might work fine though
Awesome product. Ive always had a hernia, probably from birth and recently felt pain from over tension. I never had issues with it til now and don't really want to be out of work due to repairing it. The padding is thick and durable. It's really good quality. I had bought another type locally and throw it away. This is really good quality and comfortable. I recommend it,it takes the tension off the area.

This really works!
I developed a hernia a few weeks ago and tried to find a hernia belt locally so I could use it immediately. The only one in town that I could find just simply didn't work, so I ordered this one and took it real easy until it arrived. It is remarkable. It fits very well and is extremely easy to put on and wear. I hardly know it's on. It attaches with Velcro, whereas the first one I had used adjustable straps that look like buckles and was difficult to put on and wear.I highly recommend using this one, only as a temporary fix until surgery and permanently solve the problem. I'm scheduled shortly, but it's great knowing I have it in case I develop another hernia.

Does its job well and is low profile at a nice price point.
I developed a hernia on my right side and wanted to keep it pushed in to let it heal naturally. I was shopping around for a hernia belt that i thought might be a good fit for me and noticed this one. It is pretty slim and it works pretty well to wear under your pants for a low profile fit. Where some belts is either a left or right side, you receive both pads with this one. As some people have mentioned, the elastic does stretch out some over time... I have been using mine for just over two weeks and i have to wrap it over a couple more inches but the belt still has plenty of compression to keep pressure on the hernia. The material does breathe pretty well considering. Some complained about the pads popping out of the pocket but i have not had any issues so far. The straps that go between your legs and wrap around to the back have also stretched but still keep the belt against your body. The velcro does rough up the belt but still grabs well. For the price, i really can't complain. I wear a 32 to a 33 inch pants size and this medium sized belt seems to be the right fit for me. Already considering buying a second one when this one is ready for replacement. For those of you new to a hernia, i am taking hernicare as sugested on the bottle and go for walks daily to strengthen my muscles and have reduced eating carbs and sugar. Eat smaller meals to prevent bloating and be aware of what type of movement you make to not over work your hernia. Except for feeling the belt on, i almost never feel my injury. Good luck on your recovery!

Allows me to work in my yard all day an play with my grandchildren with no pain or stress.
I'm 74. I was feeling occasional pangs of lower abdominal pain. After an MD exam I realized I have an inguinal hernia on my left side. The first opportunity I have for surgery is about 6 weeks away. The more I continued to work in my yard and play with my grand kids the more frequently the pains were occurring. The low pressure also increased after a big meal. I looked at several trusses on Amazon and this Tenbon belt truss seemed like a simple non-bulky unit for a reasonable price. I got the double belt thinking it might be more versatile and might give me more support all the way across my lower groin, even if I only needed and used the left side pad.Delivery was 1 day. As soon as I put this on I could feel the support pushing against my hernia. There were no pain pangs and I feel more confident that every strenuous activity will not be making my hernia worse. This really lets me do much of my normal life without worrying or being super cautious. I still avoid heavy direct lifting of over 50 lbs but I no longer worry about doing most other activities. I took the plastic pad out of the right side and I do feel more support all the way across my lower abdomen so I'm glad I got the double unit.1) After a few tries and adjustments this belt is easy to put on and take off. Just pull each leg loop up and into place and the pull the waist strap around from your back and velcro the end to the front of the strap.2) I have a 33 waist and wear 32 or 34 pant size. I bought the LARGE size belt and it fits perfect. There is extra length and it stretches so If you are a 35 to 37 pant size I'd still recommend the Large.3) This belt is light weight and not bulky. It rides about an inch or 2 lower than your pant waist /belt line and no one can notice that you are wearing it under regular pants or shorts. I have not tried it with jeans.4) It's well made. Easy to adjust for many thigh widths. Very comfortable to wear all day.5) It's a difficult to pee standing up but the whole unit slides up and down easily without undoing the waist strap if you just drop it with your underwear to sit down. This Truss has been a life saver for me as it relieved my fears of walking stairs or doing most normal activity. I would definitely recommend it.-------------------------------------------Edit 6/26/22I have now been wearing this belt for 4 weeks including a week vacation for a college reunion. I could not have managed without this belt. It was comfortable on a 5 hour flight and easy to manage in the bathrooms. It was inconspicuous under several types of pants (shorts, stretch golf pants and dress slacks) . It even supported for long times standing and dancing. A few times I didn't wear it in the morning and I could feel the hernia bulging. When I pit it back on the pain disappeared and the bulge stayed down. I did not wear it when sleeping.

OK, but cumbersome and bulky
Poplar pick. Nice, soft material. The leg straps are Velcro at both ends and difficult to reset at every wearing.I found that the belt did not apply pressure at the hernia area even though the inserts are huge. I prefer and recommend a medically dispersed "Sport-aid" belt (on Amazon) that has buckled leg straps. Its material is not as soft but once the leg straps are set, it is easy to use and applies proper pressure at the hernia site. The advertised sizing is off; I have a 33" waist and need a Sport-aid medium size.
