This worked perfectly for my mid 2010 Macbook Pro 15" with an erratic trackpad. You will have to take apart pretty much your entire macbook motherboard to get it installed but its do-able and transformed my unusable macbook pro into what its supposed to be.

Worked like a charm!
I got this because we had tried everything else to get the trackpad from acting irrationally. Everything we tried either didn't work or was only temporary. We replaced it with this one (both the pad AND the ribbon cable which has some chips on it) and it now works great.

FAILED after 1 year. Garbage, do not buy!
Failed after 1 year - So it lasted only 1/4 the time that the original one did. Avoid this seller/product, I might as well have bought one of the generic ones for $15.
