No complaints about the cable, bought them to tether a GoPro 10 in case to handlebars, helmets and backpacks when we're out on the slopes, trails or hiking. Clips are pretty generic and a "freebie" amongst the set of cables. I'm not sure I'd trust them as I've had many of these fail where the spring gets dislodged and the clasp flaps open.

Before purchasing these you really need to think about your use case and how you will be using them. These are thin steel cables with hooks that are best used as emergency cables to prevent your expensive devices from getting lost. As some of the example photos show, using these with GoPro accessories is probably the best use case, as long as you are not expecting to deal with high amounts of force. I don't know how much I would trust these in a high-speed moving vehicle or anything that has a high degree of motion, but for standard walkaround securing of your action cameras these will work great. Given the cost it's worth throwing these in the camera bag just in case you need them.

I havent used the tethers yet but they look well made and durable, but they are still lightweight and small enough that they wont get in the way. I like how they come in different colors and lengths so I can easily pick the one I want. I use my cameras for motorcycle riding and track days. I think these tethers will be a great safety feature in case a mount comes loose, these should stop me from losing or damaging my camera. Plus, if something came flying off the bike it could be very dangerous. I also plan to use a tether while paragliding to prevent dropping or losing a camera.

I like the actual product much better than the picture. Very thin giving maximum flexibility in where to attach them. The little carabiner also was pleasantly small and thin. Going to tie my GoPro 11 to my motorcycle for dual sport activities

Purchased it to tether my GoPro / Suction Cup setup on a car hood. Worked like a charm. I was able to tether to the car grill pretty easily using these cables (yellow seems to be optimal length for that purpose) on two different vehicles. On one of the vehicles GoPro suction cup popped off several times. The tether held the GoPro with suction cup perfectly every time, allowing to to stop and re-mount. Unfortunately I left the cable attached when I returned the rental car :( So I had to buy entire new set. I wish I could buy just one cable (need another yellow!). The wire and crimp are fully coated so they won't scratch your vehicle, which is great. Many other ones on youtube are not coated.

Cables seem solid but carabiners are very flimsy, one busted on me immediately upon compressing the spring opening.
