This is not a 2 pack-must be used as a pair
I like the concept, but the Amazon site is wrong about the 2 pack able to use on 2 circuits. Maybe somebody needs to check the comments and q/a to make sure information is correct.Tech suppost is basically non-existent since I have emailed several times with detailed information about my problem and It was after 3 weeks I get an answer that the switch is used as a pair."[email protected] 17, 2020, 8:21 PMto meDear ,If you buy 2pack is need to be use as a pair. "Returning this is a major problem since I live in Costa Rica and shipping this back is more than the cost of the switch.

One smart and one dumb.
Only one of this pair is smart. The other is the matching dummy. Don’t expect to get two smart switches. You only need for one switch to be smart in the 3way circuit. When using In a group sometimes if it is off and you command to turn the group off this will come on.

Need only one Smart Switch in circuit
Once I figured out the proper wiring configuration for the switch, I discovered that only one switch is needed in the circuit to make the entire three-way connection an Alexa enabled circuit. The trick is to find the 'Hot' wire in the maze of wires in the switch box. It's the 'always on' wire or bundle of wires which can be pretty easily found with a non-contact voltage tester. Once you find the 'Hot' wire, everything else just sorta falls in place. These switches work perfectly and are totally compatible with Amazon's Alexa and I assume they're also compatible with Google's Assistant.
