Will get the job done
I was barely strong enough to clamp them shut which was a good thing. It means they’ve sealed. This was 12 years ago and they’re still working just fine. Spliced in a meter feeder wire to a trailer house.

Amazing.
Gets the job done worked 2/0 and 4/0 wire. the goo gives peace of mind. there are little spots for zip ties (not sure if that’s intended or not) but they fit perfectly. Use vise grips (grip pliers) to clamp it tight and add your zip ties. Flawless Installation and performance been 3 weeks no issues with 50 amp service going through it. Will purchase again if ever needed.

Super easy to use but need to be clamped a little better
I needed this to fix a fault in my underground electric line coming into my house since the wires had gotten cut due to the ground settling. Was super easy to splice my lines and hook them back together. Only problem I had was trying to get the box with the gel clamped together so I just used a couple of zip ties then wrapped the entire thing with some rubberized splice tape I had. Just got everything buried underground again a couple of days ago and so far so good. Got full power in the house again and no issues. Worked great!

Work great
An awesome product. Used these to splice some underground wires and very happy with the quality and ease of use of the product. Gives peace of mind knowing that the wires are secure and safe.

As described, very good quality, worth the money
Good quality exactly what I was looking for! I lost power on one leg going to my building. Found a bad section in the 0.4 wire 20 ft from the building underground, cut bad spot out use butt connector to reconnect. Enclosed but connector in black case with Dielectric grease in it and buried cables. Thank you very much!

3 years in - so far, so good.
Very easy to install and saves time. Seems to be a reliable solution - 3 years since install and no issues.

Hard to close, but works great

Why butt connection.
Worked great for my application in the power panel. Because it’s in side I didn’t really need the waterproof seal, but I use it anyway for safety.
