This car seat is great quality for the money. It is lightweight and locks down tight. It is so easy to put in and take out. I am short, so having my drivers seat up close to the wheel is my way of life, but if you are a taller parent and your baby rides rear facing in this, it would be a little bit of a tight fit in an SUV.

Both the box and product were intact.WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT ITI already have an expensive ( I paid $250) child car seat from another brand but I wanted one especially for the upcoming travel weight being the concern. This car seat is very light but it is also sturdy. Adjusting the harness is easy and convenient. Adjusting the harness on the other car seat ( the expensive one ) is a Hercules task. The seating pad is soft yet firm. Fits perfect for my daughter. Has a cup holder that is detachable. The best part of this car seat is its weight. It is so light I could carry it all over the terminal without feeling the weight. It fits perfectly in a Delta domestic flight which was a Boeing ( Not sure about the Aircraft model) . However, It did not fit on a Spirit flight which was an Airbus. I had to do the gate check in, for that particular flight.It looks sturdy and feels well built but can not comment on the quality until it is out to a test which I would not want. Going through the previous reviews, I remember some one mentioning about the real life test and how it saved the child. So I feel, it should do well in case of an unfortunate event.WHAT IS NOT SO GOOD ABOUT ITThe only minor issue is with the cup holder. It does not stay in place when you load it up with a heavy cup. I can use some glue to put it in place but then it is beats the idea of "detachable cup holder".Bottom LineIt is value for money and the best car seat If you have to carry it on a flight or use it on a rental car.Would I recommend it to a friendYes, I would.

I'd give it four and a half stars if that were an option because I like it a lot. Because of the low price, I was really nervous about buying this car seat. Who wouldn't worry about their child being safe and comfortable in such a low cost seat when others are five or six times this price? I figured we would try it out in his car but buy a more expensive, "better" seat for my car since it's the one our child is in most of the time. Instead, I'm thinking of buying a second one of these.This seat is lightweight enough to take when traveling (which was initially why I'd thought it would be good as our second car seat) and very easy to use. The strap adjustment is smooth and easy, no tugging like on the more expensive infant seat we have now! Also, the two sides fasten independently into the bottom buckle which is such a good thing! On the infant seat we have, you needed to put them together like a puzzle and slip them into the buckle together--with a squirmy, cranky, tired child that is such a hassle. The ability to click each side in separately on this seat is fantastic and a major plus as far as I'm concerned.Also, our child LOVES this car seat! Much happier and less fussy than in the old one.Why not five stars: The cup holder kind of stinks but at least it's removable. I find that the bottle falls out really easily, maybe with a shorter one or a sippy cup it would stay in there better. I'm not crazy about the way the seat feels--it just doesn't feel padded enough to be really comfortable but since our toddler isn't complaining I guess it's OK. I'd just prefer if it had a little more of a pad to the seat at least. The fabric also feels really thin but I'll give it a chance and see how it holds up. We've only been using it for two months as a second car seat--it's used one or two days a week--and so far it's still in good condition.
