I was sceptical, 6 months in... No spiders!
Easy to use, have had for 6 months in two rooms and have not seen a single spider in the rooms where the plug in is turned on. Something worth knowing is that the signal does not work through walls or doors so one per room. Bizarrely we have had spiders in the rooms with no plug in. I was sceptical but they work!!

Doesn’t work
Had product similar before to help daughter breathing as side affect few insects fab this got lost coming back from hols. Bought these as replacement and seem to attract rather than repel insects, spiders and black bugs attracted to the blue light. Had giant house spider run over pillow last night don’t recommend will try to find which product we previously bought and throw these in draw. May work as nightlight but not constant blue light flashes so is annoying in bedroom.

Spider insect deterrent with blue flashing light
Light weight plug in type device, easily plugged in to and socket and off you go its working When this arrived and I examined it I thought these wont be up to much, very light weight but sturdy plug in's, only thing i find annoying is the pulsating glowing blue light at the bottom of the plug in, if it's being used in an unused room well then it's ok but I've one in my bedroom and there is a blue light glowing on and off throughout the night, this didnt annoy me but it bothered my partner to the point where he covered the light partially to cut down the glow. I think this is a down side to this particular item. Does it work I hear you ask? Well, I placed 1 in our spare bedroom where we were getting a few big spiders, (any spider bigger than a fly is enormous in my eyes) I plugged one in and off it went, i must add i also bought sticky spider catchers that i placed on the floor in corners as an extra precaution to catch the creepy crawlies as they would seemly be scared out of their hidy holes into my traps, any yes within 3 days I had two spiders trapped and I've caught no more ever since in that bedroom the plug remains on. In my bedroom we caught 1 spider and havnt seen any more since using the plug, but I might add we did have a few baby spiders moving about but probably came from behind the wardrobe as it's never moved, but no larger spiders to be seen, I was a bit pessimistic about this device but I'm thinking its definitely doing something as I havnt seen any spiders since the original few first caught that were probably in the house So I think yes it's doing its job and I might buy one for my shed and give it ago, that would be the real test!

Wouldn't recommend.
Not awful to have sitting on your wall, actually smaller than expected. Nice and simple to use.. They just don't work. Had it plugged in 2days, figured they were working cause no mosquito bites but then this evening my boy got eaten alive. Guess we just got lucky the first night, So I'm very disapointed.

Brilliant. Worked as soon as plugged in
These are brilliant even though i was sceptical at first. After seeing 4-5 spiders a day, as soon as these were plugged in, none have appeared. Maybe their hiding etc but at least ive not had to look at a spider scuttle across my floor! I have used similar device in the past and yes it worked but then i lost the device and thought maybe it was a gimmick. But as soon as the spiders reappeared i purchased these new ones. Great that i got 2 in the box. One for lounge and 1 for bedroom. Upto now im really impressed. I did purchase the rentokil sticky triangle cards but they arrived week after i plugged these electronic things in and no, ive had no spiders stuck in the rentokil triangles so im assuming the spiders have gone into hiding or different rooms. Im definitely going to purchase more for all rooms. Hoping it lasts but as i said i have had similar devices before and they worked too. Just i didnt realise at the time how effective they were.

So far so good.
The HUGE UK SPIDERS season prompted me to try keeping our "friends" out of my home and lead me to this purchase. I must say... I'm impressed! I haven't seen one since I plugged these in the outlets. I live in a fairly small flat where I plugged one in the Living/Office room and one in the bedroom and I've kept an eye out but... nothing. If I' m to be 100% honest, I've seen a very small spider, the other day, in my bedroom by the opened window (he was just visiting - I don't think he liked it even thoe I did put him outside) but never again the big ones nor mosquitoes, ants, or any other bugs.

Seems to do the job
I bought these because I had 5 huge spiders within the first 10days of September. Since using these and spraying peppermint around the house every few days I have only had a couple of spiders. So far I have only plugged one of these into my bedroom and one into the kitchen. I did notice that when the cat was chasing a spider up the hallway it avoided my bedroom where the door was open and headed for the living room instead where there is not one plugged in. I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to anyone who is as petrified of spiders as I am.
