This is really well designed radio, very easy to carry with the balanced handle and it performs really well. Audio quality is perfectly acceptable for what is a small unit. If you want booming bass then pay a lot more to get it. User controls are easy to master although you need the instructions (which are good) to learn how to store and use the presets but it isn't complicated. Overall a smart looking radio and very good value for money

This has been a great little radio for us to play, when leaving the dog home alone for a couple of hours. Great sound, lovely colour, easy to preset stations and lots to choose from, also lightweight and easy to hide away when it’s not in use (we do keep it plugged in all the time though). Really happy with it and have no reasons as of yet why we wouldn’t recommend it to others.

I bought this radio as a portable for the conservatory over the Summer. It has a lovely design and colour (duck-egg blue). And with DAB+, FM and Bluetooth, it provides a good range of sources for the money. I was under the misapprehension that it has a rechargeable battery inside, but it doesn't - the 15-hour battery playback is based on the use of 4 AA batteries. However, a mains plug is supplied. The radio is fairly easy to use with the help of the instruction-manual but like most modern devices with minimal controls, it isn't at all obvious or intuitive. All fairly good so far but the sound quality is another matter. The sound is pretty clear and not exactly tinny, but doesn't have much depth and is a bit harsh for my liking. And the radio has no way of of altering its tonal balance (a major design flow, in my opinion). I suppose it has a sound that is typical of a small radio, but I have similarly sized radios made by Le Mega that sound much better. So, unfortunately I don't think I can live with the sound quality of this radio and it may end up at the charity shop. It's a shame, as it is otherwise very good value for money.And a note about the Amazon delivery... I saw the van outside my house but nobody came to my door. This didn't surprise me as Amazon drivers seldom knock on the door these days and just leave the packages outside. I then got a message that the package had been left behind a wheelie bin... but it wasn't behind my bin or next-door's. I then got a photo of the package behind next-door's fence. I looked and the driver had obviously dropped it over their gate. Just not good enough Amazon!

This is a small but mighty radio. Small and stylish with clear sound and great functionality. The controls are clear and easy to use. This radio is great value for money

A very good radio, great sound, sturdy and very good to look at. I bought one and was so happy with it that I bought another for my sister too. I recommend this radio very highly.

Love the radio packs quite a punch nice sound and base I had brought another type of battery 3600 AA lithium and they are lasting brought 8 in rechargeable charger the radio has a brilliant sound very happy did have an issue which was sorted out very quickly by the technical support team at Majority I love the style retro look nice looking radio to carry around the garden or where ever garage garden shed or just relaxing in the garden you won't be disappointed by the sound not at all tinny has nice sound and base sounds like a radio should nice quality.

This is a gorgeous little radio, perfect for my kitchen, looks fab and great sound. Really easy to set up too. May be tempted to get another as there are a variety of colours! Highly recommend, came up under good housekeeping reviews.

This is the second Little Shelford radio I have purchased. Fabulous quality and sound. Neat and portable. A little fiddly to tune in initially, but when you get the hang of it, no problem. Would recommend .
