CeKay Outdoor TV Antenna 2608-5G Control Box

The CeKay Outdoor Digital HD TV Antenna (model WA-2900-3D) with High Gain and Low Noise Amplifier is a very good antenna for the price. I emailed [email protected] for advice on a antenna because where we live, we are surrounded by tall tree's and about 50+ miles away from the closest tv station. The customer rep emailed me back very fast and suggested I purchase this antenna. So far it works very well. The picture quality is outstanding and we are getting over 40 channels with it mounted on our roof. The thing people have to realize when they are going to "cut the cable" and go back to over the air (free channels) is that reception can be spotty and on/off depending on there location. I have never seen a regular antenna hold reception that wasn't interrupted at some point. This antenna does very well and I highly recommend it. Thanks for reading hope this helps!

Easy to install and works as advertised.

Works great as an omnidirectional antenna. Picked up 100+ channels in my area, and I only mounted on my patio cover, which is about 15 ft high, not my rooftop. Customer support was great as well.

I gave it a one star only because you have to give it something to have the review sent. I would not have given it a one star if I had that opportunity.Not what was advertised. I wanted to switch out an antenna I've had for over a year that's good for approx. an 80 mile range. There is a city approx. 90 mi away. I would catch the stations sporadically. I purchased this antenna which claimed 150 mile range. After first finding out the pre-drilled holes for assembly weren't in the right place, at first said "shouldn't be too much trouble of a fix". After changing out this antenna which claims 150 mile range, I couldn't even get the original stations (from 50 miles away) I had on the older antenna. I followed all the correct instructions but I could only get the stations within a 10 mile range.This antenna does not perform the way it is advertised. Would not recommend this item.

After installing this supposed improved reception distance etc. antenna, I ended up loosing 10 HD channels that I previously received on my ancient tv antenna. Beware of promises made and a price that is lower. I lost the ABC station and all substations associated with their antenna, which is 15 miles closer to my residence that the NBC & CBS antennas, which are all in a direct line of sight from my home. I live in a suburban city that abuts an extremely large metropolitan city. Needless to say, I will be buying another antenna from one of my local big box hardware stores in the near future of the old fashion style.

Wish I had read the reviews on this before I bought. Worked well for a couple of weeks, then I lost most of my channels. Some came back when I unplugged the " amplifier ". No way this is a 150 mile antenna. All of our good channels are within 60 miles.
