Ray-Ban 4075P Rectangular Wrap Sunglasses

Well I had never had a pair of expensive glasses before. The ad read "glass lenses", just what I wanted for the durability. When they arrived they were plastic. I contacted the seller to send me ones with glass and he informed me that they did not come in glass. I explained that the ad was very misleading. The end result after much negotiation was that he sent me a pair of extra plastic lenses which will last me quite a long time I hope. It was a lot of effort on my part and three weeks after the original purchase the listing still says "glass". It is beyond me as to why that is. Ian also a seller of items on Amazon and if anything was misleading on my products, I would correct right away.

I am on my third pair of these things and not because they don't last but because they do. I love that they are narrow on your face, but still have room for a wider nose. The bridge of my nose is kind of wide but my face is narrow, so I love these. I have bought 3 pairs over the last like 7 years and mainly because for years I didn't even protect them and they still held up. I finally decided to buy a case and use it since I am on my third pair, but they held up nicely for me not treating the first two pairs very well at all. They spent time at the bottom of my purse a lot. They are really comfortable sunglasses and work well in multiple situations. They also never go out of style go with everything. So, every couple years I buy a new pair.

When I first ordered them I thought the price was too high. I was certainly wrong. I bought these three years ago and use them almost daily. I misplaced them for a few days and knew I'd have to order a new pair. Found them under the car seat, but was ready to go for pair number two. Perfect for the Caribbean, Alaska, or the grocery store.

Very unhappy with these glasses and feeling ripped-off, as they are very pricey. I bought them 7 months ago, so I have given them a fair trial. My biggest complaint is that they do not block GLARE. I cannot wear these on sunny days, as the glare makes my eyes hurt. I have to use my Oakleys instead. What good are sunglasses that you can't wear on sunny days? I am sorry I decided to try Ray-Ban and will be buying another pair of Oakley sunglasses.

I saw and tried those sunglasses at Sunglasses Hut but did not buy them because of the price. I noticed that Amazon was selling the same pair for $45 less! I ordered them and love them. I got worried when I got them because the box said "men" and my confirmation email labeled them men glasses as well but they definitely are made for women! They fit very well, they are very light and the polarized lenses are awesome for driving, reading my tablet, typing on my phone, being near water, etc. Because they wrap around the face, the sun is totally blocked! I LOVE THEM!!!!

Love, love these sunglasses!!! The polorized lenses are great quality. I can look directly at the sun. They do keep a lot of light out. The fit so comfortable that I don’t even feel they are there. And they look fabulous.

Attempted to replace this pair of glasses for someone who had already owned a pair using the model number they had on the glasses. These turned out to be different than the ones they already owned. Unfortunately by the time I had gotten these to the person my return window has apparently already closed. Who knew going by a model number could wind up getting something different than you already had?

I first bought the brown polarized sunglasses (from a land-based shop), and was amazed by the quality of the lens. I spent one whole day with the glasses - on the road in the morning, and then 4-5 hours in the sea in the afternoon with changing weather from bright sun to slightly cloudy. I had no eye tension whatsoever. The only down side of it was that the brown lens was changing the colors too much for my preference and habit (I have always worn gray/green lens before). So in the end I decided to return the brown ones, and order the green polarized lens (this time from Amazon as the price was $80 less, nearly 50%). Now I am wearing the green ones, and I am quite happy with them as they change the colors much less, but simply make them slightly darker and richer. They hide reflections very well and I don't have to strain my eyes. I have to admit though that the brown lens was working better, particularly in sunny to shady area transition - somehow they made environment less sharp and very easy to the eye. The green ones don't do so well in this case, but they are fine when you are on the road and they reduce reflections and bright light just fine. But if I didn't have that problem with the changed colors, I would have definitely gone for the brown lens.In regard to other models of sunglasses out there, I really love these, as they don't stick out of my face, and also fit well to a wide nose bridge.
