You need this chain if you have an SLX drivetrain!
I got a new mountain bike (2021 Polygon Siskiu T8) and the drivetrain had this slight grind in it, plus the chain would skip gears if you peddled backwards. It just wasn't quite right. I realized it had shipped with a generic 12-speed chain on it. I ordered this Shimano SLX M7100 chain and swapped it out and oh my gosh I finally experienced the SLX system in all its glory and it is glorious. PERFECT operation now! Shimano for life! :-)

Shimano slx chain
Bought a bike with SLX components but it came with a generic chain. It kept jumping down a gear if I back pedaled and also made noise as if Mal adjusted. I read changing to a Shimano chain would solve this and it did 100%
