Exactly what is stated in the literature. The lanyard is a brilliant addition and the sound is certain to stop people in their tracks and draw attention. Yet at the same time the whistle is small enough to be discreet but no doubt as to its effectiveness.

I bought two sets of whistles. One set metal that cost more and these plastic whistles. These plastic whistles were louder and sounded much better than the metal ones. Would recommend them!
