This sounds crazy but I get excited to play with the children because the toys are so neat, well thought out, detailed, imaginative and real life-like. My niece absolutely loves this wooden sandwich set! It’s made of quality wood, smooth and soft to the touch. The Velcro center is strong enough to do its job and hold together a triple decker sandwich, yet my 2.5year old niece can cut it with a bit of effort. I like that it challenges her and also allows her to be creative. Great gift.

One of my 4 year olds most favorite birthday gifts. I have had to hide it a couple times just so she would give the cutting of the sandwiches a rest for a little while. But I love that she is so interested in it and wants to play with this one set more than the 50 other pieces of fake food she has in her kitchen because with this she is actually "making" the sandwich herself. I made little cards that have different sandwiches that can be made from this set and she named them so when we play restaurant she has to make the right recipe. Its just a simple and fun set. I highly recommend this set to anyone with kids from 1-5 or 6 even. I wish I had gotten it for her sooner but at least she will love it for awhile.

A great little set that fosters imaginative play. I saw some negative reviews on this item, but for the price this set is fantastic. We have the pizza party set as well and my 2.5 year old loves that. This set is similar in that it has Velcro dots that make the sandwiches stack. Everything arrived perfectly, no issues at all with quality. I really appreciate the wooden tray (like the pizza party) that keeps everything in one place. Since we got it yesterday, I’ve eaten a lot of sandwiches and burgers 😉

This wood sandwich kit is as sturdy and durable as they come. Excellent quality toy, and it gets 5 stars for that. I bought this for my daughter at 18 months.. she is now 22 months. She has loved it from the beginning. Have some drawbacks though: - My daughter absolutely LOVES "cutting" the sandwich and hamburger.. but thats about it. She doesnt quite get the concept of making a sandwich, which means I have to put all the pieces together.. and she takes them all apart with the wooden knife. - There's only so many sandwiches you can make with this kit! It would be nice to have more meats.. and fillings, but thats okay I suppose. - The velcro is starting to wear down. I have this issue with the food cutting set as well - my daughter plays with this toy so often ("cutting" the sandwich), that the velcro is starting to lose its adhesiveness. So I question how long this toy will last if we've only had it for 5 months.. and its already started to wear down like this. Overall, excellent toy, I highly recommend it - my daughter loves to cut the sandwiches, so it provides excellent playing time for her. It keeps her busy for a long time.. and she loves just loves this toy.

I bought this set for Xmas for my nephew, Ben Franklin. Ben doesn't eat a very healthy diet because his parents are morons and feed him a bunch of carby junk - all kinds of puffs and cereal crap like that, which is ok but not when that's ALL you ever eat, he doesn't even eat chicken fangers as far as I know. I was hoping that maybe playing with this sammich set would teach him a little something about what normal people like to eat for lunch. I do not think this has improved his eating habbits, but he does enjoy playing with it. Hopefully after a few more weeks this set will train him to make his uncle sandwiches when I come to visit. Also - the quality is very nice. Good wood. Good paint job. I almost want to eat the tomato. I wish someone would have bought me this when I was younger.
