This thing is amazing
So this is my first projector so I’ll admit that I have nothing to compare it with. However, for the price I wasn’t expecting much as far as picture quality goes especially since I don’t have a screen. I have to say though, I honestly couldn’t tell a difference between this and my 10 year old big screen tv. It’s not quite up there with the new 4K stuff but it is honestly very impressive. For some reason I’m unable to post a picture but I was very impressed with the quality of the video. The sound was plenty loud enough for a back yard camp out. It was so much fun and a nice difference from the everyday movie night in your living room. I will say that I didn’t have the correct connection I needed for my iPhone to hook up which is what I was expecting to do (my fault I should have read better.) However, I do have a fire stick and it hooked up very easily with no problems at all. Overall this was one of those Amazon wins. I still can’t believe a product that is under 80$ would be such a cool gadget. One more thing I forgot to note, it does need to be pretty dark to get the good picture quality but I expected that. Even though I’ve never had a projector like this, my kids have had toys and things that project and that’s just the way projectors work. I can still see with the picture with lights on but the quality is much better with the lights off or in our case, in the evening or night outside.

Great 4 the price!
It's my first. I've had it 2yrs and love the picture and the fact I can adjust the size of the picture. Picture quality is great so I don't miss any of the televisions I gave away! Great value for the 💰.

A lot of power in a small package. Lacks SD slot
I have owned several projectors for the past 19 years, and one of the biggest complaints I have had was that the replacement light bulbs cost SO MUCH. As a result, I hardly ever used them and they started collecting dust at the back of my closet. When I came across this projector, I was intrigued by how relatively cheap it was and was curious about whether LED ones could outperform the old ones I have. So, I set out to try one for the last 20 days to see how well it performs.PROS- Multiple connectivity and input options, including USB drives and wireless via Miracast/Chromecast- Fairly bright output, even at a roughly 100" projected size- Surprisingly loud speakers- ONLY uses 35W of power!-- Runs on my 400W battery power station for 8-10 hours! Entertaining on the go for the kids!- Far more quiet than my older projectors- Usual image correction controls (Zoom/Focus/Keystone)- Remote control- Small and portable- LED bulb will last much, much longer than the older projectors- 3 year warranty. That surprised me a bit!CONS- Requires AC connection and cannot run on a battery (this is not what the product is designed for, but I wanted to point that out)- Manual could use some work- 480p native resolution (to be fair, many mini projectors don't have higher, native resolutions)- No Bluetooth support to connect wireless speakers withI was very surprised by how much power this small projector packs as compared to the older projectors I own. LED technology has come such a long way, and because LEDs run a lot cooler, there's no cool-down period needed when shutting down the projector like in the old days. Even better, hook up some quality speakers via the headphone jack for some pretty good movie watching experiences.I am very confused about why the product description on Amazon states that this projector is not recommended for PPT (PowerPoint presentations). Why not? It works just fine for business presentations... Unless the meeting lasts more than 4 hours, at which time it may overheat a bit? I am not sure. The manual does not state either why the manufacturer discourages its use for business presentations. In any case, I look forward to using this projector more often again to watch movies with my children.2020 version upgraded from 3500 lux to 4500 lux. To convert to lumens, it's not a straight-forward formula. Lux takes into consideration the surface area. But for ease, we can consider 1 lux = 1 lumen, though technically this is incorrect

It works, and works well.
I bought this mini projector so my wife and I could enjoy movies in our bedroom without spending hundreds on a big screen TV. For our setup we needed a few additional items to make everything work like we wanted, but I'll get to that later. Right out of the box, this is a very compact unit. We'll easily be able to mount or place this to give us the best possible projection size. The unit has an HDMI in, a VGA in, and 2 USB ports. Your HDMI capable devices (think switch, Xbox, DVD player) will plug right in. It comes with the necessary cables for this basic functionality. It also includes a remote, but ours did not include batteries. Also included is a 3 way cable for audio/video. To get this to work with your phone will require a few inexpensive items. If your phone supports it, you can buy a usb-c to hdmi adapter and plug your phone right in. Samsung phones seem to work great this way. Apple phones will require a lightning to hdmi converter cable, and will also be plug and play. My Google pixel phone was NOT plug and play so I had to purchase a Chromecast to link my phone. This turned out to be a great solution for me. The sound on the unit comes out of a speaker on the projector itself. There are a couple of days to get better sound. My solution was to run the 1/8 mm headphone output in to an external Bose speaker. Any speaker with an input will work with the appropriate adapter. All in all I am happy with my personal home theater setup. The biggest complaint I have is the instruction manual is less than comprehensive. I really wish this unit supported Bluetooth, but for what I paid, this unit delivers and then some. I recommend this projector for your on the go movie needs, or as a basic in home phone mirror. I would not recommend this unit for work related tasks such as PowerPoint.
