Q: Can the pills be crushed to put in canned food? I have a nervous cat who is not easy to hold so I wouldn't be able to pill him directly.

The pills have a scent that animals seem to be attracted to and want to eat, like a treat. To answer your question directly, yes you can crumble the pill and put it in food. The label on the box specifically says you can do so.

The "expiration date" is stamped on the bottom... the last two containers I have are stamped 5/18 and 7/18
