Gorgeous Scent, Kind of Skimpy on the Amount of Sticks per Box
When I first discovered incense, I was just a kid and I fell in love with this incense I found at a local shop in Bar Harbor Maine called, Eden's Rising (now sadly closed) and it was simply called "Krishna" incense. In the three decades I have been burning incense, I had never found another incense that smelled quite like that one, which was unfortunate because it was always my favourite. I knew it was definitely sandalwood, but there was something else I couldn't quite put my finger on. Well after extensive deep dives online, I tracked the original incense (no longer in production sadly) but discovered that that particular incense was a blend of sandalwood and saffron. Well, then began my search for a sandalwood and saffron blend that matched the scent I remembered as best I could. I narrowed it down to two, the first one smells the closest, but unfortunately it wreaks havoc on my asthma for some reason. This one doesn't smell as close to what I remembered, but it is very, very close, and doesn't wreak havoc on my asthma or give me sick headaches like many other types of incense tend to do. I'm mentioning all of that for the benefit of anyone else who might have been a fan of the Krishna incense back in the late 90's. As for the rest of you who just want a nice smelling incense, this burns well, doesn't irritate my sensitive system (autistic, asthmatic, and MCAS), and the smell is simply divine. It is just the right blend of sweet and spicy. Most sandalwood incense tends to be either way too sweet and nothing like sandalwood at all, or too spicy/woodsmokish with very little actual scent to it. Sandalwood is meant to smell a bit spicy and just fragrant, the addition of saffron softens it but not in a sweet way. This is going to sound odd and probably not very appealing, but trust me when I say it actually is very appealing, but the closest comparison I could make would be if you were to take sandalwood and blend it with the smell of those old flea collars for cats, not the chemical, poison aspect of the scent, more the powdery aspect of it. Again, that probably doesn't sound appealing, but you have to consider the distinction carefully. As an Autistic man, I have a ridiculously strong olfactory sense and I am able to separate scents within scents. So when I say it reminds me of those flea collars, I say that it is only ONE distinct aspect of a full myriad of scents from that one overall scent. It's that light, soft, pleasant powdery underscent that I am referring to. Anyway, this is all probably way too much information than anybody really cares about except maybe other autistic people who understand how the autistic nose works lol. Bottom line, this is a good quality incense, it burns well, doesn't smoke too bad, doesn't exacerbate my sensitive system, and if it isn't already obvious from everything else I've stated, it smells lovely. My only complaint is the amount of sticks in the box, making this not the best value for your money. They either need to pack the boxes better/fuller or lower the price. I haven't counted how many sticks are in each box, but I feel that there are a lot less sticks in these boxes than in other boxes of other incense I've bought. A same size box of the satya incense for example will last me about a month burning two sticks a day typically, whereas a box of these last me about a week, maybe ten days. Which is the ONLY reason I am not rating this five stars.

Very nice low-smoke incense
I bought this on a whim at a local metaphysical store. One pack was $2.50, so the price is on par with Amazon's. Lit it up when I got home, and am very pleased. It smokes a bit when first lit, then burns with very little smoke. It's a very nice Indian incense, similar to a nag champa. Sweet sandalwood and a touch of saffron. Very soothing and fairly pungent. Not overbearing at all, but it makes itself known. One stick burns for about a half an hour. I would re-purchase this incense, and am considering exploring other incense in the Nandita line. A nice find!
