The ARK Brick Stick XXT has been a God send to our family. It was recommended by our Occupational therapist that we find something for our son to chew on. I came across the brick stick and like the design. Other brands didn't offer a design that I though my son would enjoy. My son deals with SPD among other things and had a habit of chewing on anything even at 6 years old. The brick stick not only provides him something safe to chew on, but also provides a calming activity when his senses are wither overwhelmed or not stimulated enough. Pro's Durable even to an avid chewer looks like a common toy that boys play with easily washable Cons the cord is very long (we cut it to fit our son) The clasp on the cord comes apart too easily I would highly recommend the Brick Stick to any parent looking for a safe item for chewing. Chewing can be beneficial to children with many different challenges or just for the child who like to put things in their mouth!

I have a 3 1/2 year old son who we recently discovered had SPD. He always chewed on everything (literally everything). Once we discovered he had SPD I did a lot of research and came across these. All I can say is wow! This really really helps. You can tell it helps him greatly. Im not going to say he doesnt chew on other stuff anymore, but it is less frequent. I think with a little more time based on our early usage these will be one of his go to items for relief. It also makes me feel better knowing he has something safe to chew on. He looked at it funny when it arrived but I put it in my mouth and chewed for about 10 secs to show him it was okay and he took to it right away. If he isnt chewing it he brings it to me for safe keeping. Such a great product. Its a little pricey but worth its weight in gold for us.

I ordered this product for my Autistic son, who we are now realizing also has an oral sensory problem along with his other sensory issues. He was putting anything and everything in his mouth. Everything got chewed, even things that weren't safe. We were really concerned about choking hazards and a host of other things with everything he was putting in his mouth. We got him this and it is wonderful! We haven't noticed him putting anything else in his mouth since he got it. He doesn't want to wear it to school because no one else in class chews on one, but we're okay as that doesn't seem to be a problem at school. The brick itself is holding up so much better than I anticipated! Its barely dented on the one end and he chews it rather vigorously almost non-stop. I wasn't sure what to expect as we've never needed anything like this before but our experience has been excellent! This is a brilliant product and I'm so happy we bought it! I will definitely be buying this again as needed! My son also says that he loves they way it feels in his mouth and on his gums.

I have a major chewer with ADHD. This has helped him tremendously. It has definitely been worth it for us.

I purchased this product for my son who tends to chew on real legos and other plastic objects. According to the color firmness chart, Blue is the most firm so I went with this color. My son wears it every day to school. It's been about three weeks now and the lego is starting to show some wear, discoloration, and denting. However, he is a fairly aggressive chewer so it may last longer for others. The necklace and clasp are holding up well. Overall, my son is very satisfied with this necklace. His only complaint is that it locks his jaw sometimes. It may be his placement in way back of the mouth and/or the thickness of the lego that causes this. This occasional discomfort is not enough to deter him from using it. I may need to purchase another one soon. I am thinking of trying the Kryptobite stick one to help minimize the jaw discomfort.

Great for my 3 year old grandson. All others didn’t even last one day. This one is going on day 6!! I do think the price is too high for what they are though.

My son will normally chew through a chew necklace in a day or two. These are the longest lasting necklaces I've been able to find for him. 5 stars. Would highly recommend for excessive chewers

The top that holds string together was chewed on first and did not last.

My son loves this especially as he often ‘mouths’ things when he’s building Lego or other construction toys. He loves the look, size and sensory feedback he gets from using this and it saves chewed toys, clothes, etc. Robust and looks good.

This chewer is fantastic! Pricey but we still have it and I bought this 2 years ago!

Not worth the price. I thought it is stronger chew but the becomes wired after 3 days

100% safe and extremely durable product. Purchased on 31st July 2018 (so one month now) and it doesn't have a single bite/chewing mark on it, despite the fact that it is in daily use (on occasion all day). My only concern block pattern is near perfect to leading toy brick brand and my give wrong ideas. Thankfully it doesn't connect with any of them. It's mentioned in description and shown on sellers pictures that pendant string is fitted with emergency clasp. That works well although I would recommend to test if it's not to tight/loose before final user (in my case 6 year old) will test it on bush branch and lose it without noticing. Very good product.
