I called a team of network specialists for making my entire office floor wifi enabled. They said the cost would be about Rs 40,000 rupees with 6-8 modems/routers/extenders/wifi hubs. One day while browsing amazon, I saw this. I decided to give it a try as they promise a money back guarantee. I paid approx Rs 6970 for 3 units AC 1200. I called the network tech to set it up - luckily my floor has wired networking so set up did not involve a lot of cabling. They charged me 1800 to set it up. Now the entire floor of approx 3500 square feet gets wifi. Granted the source speed is 500mbps but the speed available with this extender is about 60mbps, I still think it is a good effective solution considering over 50-60 people are using it with their mobile phones, laptops, macbooks etc.PROS -easy setup for beginners (you can do it in under 20 mins no matter how little your knowledge is)good lookinginexpensivegreat app (for iOS and android both)seamless3 weeks and no issue so farI can add a hub to fill up deed areas, this is awesomeCONS -a) I wish they supplied a 20foot long ethernet cableb) The wifi speed on 5ghz is not much at all. 2.4ghz is also a grey area and realisitically your speed extnesions wont be as high as other units available.c) at my home, the wifi speed reduced after firmware upgrade.But still I have 100% piece of mind.I ended up buying a 2 piece system for my house also. WiFi Range issues are laid to rest now.
