Cutco knives are expensive but they really do a great job and last for many years. I have an older set that we have used for 30 years and they are still excellent. We needed a few more steak knives, and the cheap ones we have purchased just don't work well. The Cutco steak knives seem like a splurge, but their quality and durability are superb.

Teaching the children how to do dishes can be expensive. Paying for these knives in the first place was hard enough but they are so awesome. I needed to score some new ones to replenish the careless children’s dish doing.

Bought these at Christmas time and haven't been let down yet. I've had no problems cutting steak or chicken with these. They have been put through the dishwasher many times since then and are holding up nicely. Would recommend to anyone needing knifes.
