Great tool, perfect flares.
Awesome product, perfect flares, easy functionality. The design is pretty straighforward, but the only opportunity I see would be to include a gauge on it to see how far to stick the pipe out to make perfect flare. I had on in the past with a stick out gauge. So it was a learning experience to get them perfect, but you learn quick. I have always done nickel thickness, but that was too much. ended up being lcoser to a dime / credit card. Very well made, durable. Not too bulky or cumbersome. This ones a keeper. Perfect for HVAC.

Ingenious tool works very well. Great investment for a mini-split install
Very nicely made. Easy to use. Ingenious tool which created perfect flares every time on copper refrigerant hoses. Great for installing a mini-split. Eccentric wedge "rolls" the flare into shape which helps prevent uneven or pitted flares. Nice.

Perfect for a DIYer
Worked as expected and provided a perfect flare on a 1/2” and 1/4” lineset for my mini split. The key is making sure the pipe is cut good and use a debuting tool. There were no leaks using this tool.

Excellent product.i used it to flare 3/8"o d.copper tubing for a LP line on my camper and it worked fine.no leaks.so much easier to use than the cheap standard single flaring tools sold at most hardware stores.only thing I could want more would be some sort of a positive feeling when the flaring tap is properly aligned with the die bar at the desired die size.little tricky to see when the two are properly aligned but overall I love this flaring tool.good quality,easy to use, good ergonomic design,and at a great price too.highly recommend this tool for single flaring.

Functionality:I picked this one because of past good reviews and it came in and the flare auger was offset (I thought it was defective) but that’s how it’s made after reading the side of the box. This product worked really well

Best Flare Tool for installing Mini-Spit AC systems
Used for my mini split install. Was installed a year ago and flares created with this tool are still holding strong. I would practice on a couple of scrap pieces before attempting the real thing.

Cheaper than other brands that are simply rebranded.
Works great. I’ve used it for 1/4 and 1/2 line set.1/4” - flushed with tool surface1/2” - flushed with tool surfaceGot it right the first time. 1/4 was a lil tight b/c I had a smidge above tool surface but now I know.Makes beautiful flares that are a lot better than factory. Didn’t take pics but sure helped shorten lines without soldering.
