I purchased this smartphone gimbal so that I could record various videos for my YouTube channel whilst removing most of the shaking from the video.The gimbal comes with a charging cable and a small tripod for the base of the Gimbal aswell as a protective hard carrying case. The case fits the gimbal aswell as the accessories making it very easy to be transported, it can just be thrown in a bag.Setting up the gimbal is very easy, i just installed my phone and spent a minute adjusting it so that my phone was balanced. After this I turned it on and connected it to the app. The app gives you plenty of control over your videos and photos.The Gimbal has 4 different modes that lock different axis of the gimbal. This can be useful depending on what you're shooting. For example if you're videoing a stationary object you may want to lock all axis to keep that object in shot. And if you're just walking around you may want to lock one axis so that your phone stays level but can still be rotated left to right.The tripod can be used for if you want to place the gimbal on a surface. The Gimbal also features several other quarter inch threads so that you can mount the gimbal to whatever you want. There are buttons to change the mode, power, take photos and videos and even recenter the gimbal. There's also an analogue stick to adjust the angle of the phone.The battery lasts a surprisingly long time and you can even charge your phone via the internal battery.

Great value, easy to setup and use. (Just remember to read the instructions) A really good gimbal in Landscape mode & software easy to navigate. However... in portrait mode, the gimbal gets in the view of the foreground and unless you are zoomed in there is no way to avoid this as pushing the phone up the holder unbalanced the gimbal too much.I searched on Youtube for a review and it seems this is a design error.

Professional looking bit of kit, arrived in a smart box complete with protective carry case. Setup was really simple, as was installing the android app.Despite mixed reviews on play store, I've had no issues at all with the app, works flawlessly. Operation is simple, zoom and pan works well.The end product is incredible, I'm genuinely blown away, removes wobble from footsteps, super smooth camera panning. Can't fault and cheaper than the branded alternatives.The only thing I did was change the video quality in the app to use 60fps and smoother motion. Brilliant device and very impressed.

I bought this product recently with high hopes of it doing well based on other users reviews. (majority 4 stars or higher) However after using my gimbal I felt disappointed with it becoming more and more unreliable. From my personal experience these are my good and bad things:PROS:- Easy to hold- Battery life Good- Simple functionsCONS:- Gimbal isn't reliable (my portrait mode stopped working)- Larger humming noise if at the wrong angle- Awkward switching between portrait mode and landscape- Camera can be block by top area- charging port is blocked- Can sometimes get too hot

I love taking photos and videos from my phone and after adding this gimbal to my wishlist a few months ago after reading all the positive reviews, I finally gave in and bought one.The companion app which you need in order to use most of the functions of the gimbal is worse than useless. The majority of the time it crashed immediately before opening properly, the other times if you were really lucky, the app opened and crashed within 20 seconds. The gimbal itself just seemed to power off every so often, bashing my phone every time it did so.I tried deleting the app, reinstalling it, deleting the gimbal from the Bluetooth list and pairing it again, checking I had the latest software update on the phone. Nothing worked. I ended up with an expensive selfie stick which I did not need so returned for a refund.Maybe it works better for android users than iOS but after reading reviews for the app online, it seems it’s just really bad and works poorly for everybody. Thank you Amazon for processing my return so quickly.

Item is Ok once you balance it with phone attached, it some times does its own thing & turns OFF but once reset its ok again for an hour

I’ve now bought two of these and I’ve had to send one back. The first one kept turning off, usually when I put it in its tripod and stood it on a table. I sent that back. The second one that arrived today does the same thing. The phone I’m using is supported in the description so it can’t be that it’s too heavy and I cannot find a reason as to why it keeps shutting off. Absolutely terrible.Hooooowever. Upon watching some videos on YouTube, I’ve realised that the problem is balance. It has to be balanced correctly before it turns on or the motors will struggle and turn it off automatically. I’ve since used it without problem.

Perfect for iPhone XS Max with a mous case - this will not support a moment case with a lens on ( 300 g XS Max ) - functions are easy and standard - zoom function works well ( yuh need the holhem gimbal app on phone ) , I really like this gimbal - the manual is very small print and light grey , I did find it hard to read - you can adjust all the zoom / pan / tilt speeds in the app - even the torsion in the motors
