A great little torch
I'm not of a one for leaving reviews, but... this is a great little torch. Cute, even - and very bright on its highest setting. I bought it simply for checking for pirate glass when I'm beachcombing, but it'll probably get used for more than that. Pirate glass is old sea glass from the 17th & 18th centuries that was heavily-coloured to stop UV light affecting the contents. Legend has it that smugglers would tip contraband spirits into the sea if they were apprehended and the black lumps of glass are their remains. You need a bright torch light to see their true colours and this torch is excellent for that. The photo shows a piece lit up by this torch.

Lovely torch
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Nice colour, bright enough for most needs and really nice to have the glow in the dark diffuser option.

Simple to use key chain torch
Runs on a single standard AAA battery, no charging required. Simple to use just twist on/off. Comes with a defuser cap, so torch can be used as a lamp. Also in the box are spare O rings, a keychain and loop (not the strongest keyring loop so be careful) Great little torch for around £10

OUTSTANDING
Yes, outstanding. Monumentally powerful for such a titchy torch ... I keep it with me all the time. I've bought a number as gifts and will continue to do so.

It is OK but nothing special at the price.
GOOD: 1. Lovely smooth spread of light without hotspots. 2. Decent value for money; it seems well made but some other reviews cast doubt on longevity. 3. Battery powered instead of the current trend for rechargeable torches. That makes it ideal for emergency use tucked away in a back-pack, glovebox, etc. Rechargeable torches are no good for that and sadly most well-known brands seem to have deserted the battery-powered torch market. 4. Light output is perfect for a small torch. Even though I live in the countryside with zero lighting, I very rarely need anything brighter. NOT SO GOOD: A. The ribbed shaping is poor in my dry hands, I find it less grippy than traditional knurling and it slips from my fingers. B. The twist-head is looser than I would like and does not inspire confidence that it will twist itself off. C. The power sequence: LOW/HIGH/MEDIUM is very annoying. I never know what power I will get each time I turn it on. D. The glow-in-the-dark diffuser is a gimmick with almost no use. It does not glow long enough to be useful but it does make the already smooth beam even smoother which may be useful for reading (not tried). E. Nothing else really but it does not stand up well against other well known brands, e.g. Fenix, Olight, Nitecore etc. SUMMARY: It is OK for a rarely used torch. I expect it to work in 2 years time abandoned in the bottom of my camera-bag. For daily use though, I think I would end up hating it. It is not good enough. Only Fenix now make a direct competitor for this AAA Lumitop. Frankly, I wish I had spent a couple of pounds mote and bought a Fenix EO1. If you intend to use this torch daily, then I would not recommend it. A rechargeable would be a better choice and you can buy them for the same price. I would however spend almost twice as much and get the Nitecore Tiki GITD which to my mind is better in every way. Lighter, more powerful, dual use, glow-in-the-dark body (limited length glow again), UV built-in and it only costs about £0.01 per year to run.

Great little torch
This is a great little torch that is well made. The keyring that comes with it is good quality and the little rubber defuser that sits on top is handy for lighting a small area. Uses AAA batteries that are cheap and easy to come by.

Perfect keyring torch
This is the second one I have purchased, the first is still going strong after three years, battery lasts a long long time; it is waterproof and does withstand heafty bangs, you get two spare seals but I havent needed one yet. The mini carabiner is flimsy, chuck it and fit it directly onto a ring, the size works well for my keyring and the bright setting is very bright. My wife got tired of borrowing it hence the second purchase.

Lumintop Keyring Torch.
Excellent little torch with the added bonus of a luminous cap which glows in the dark so can be found easily. I carry it with me all the time.
