I used to go to a restaurant in DC called the Lebanese taverna. They're falafel was out of this world. And then I moved to athens greece for 2and a half years and talk about amazing falafel.. Where I live now. There is nothing comparable so I was excited to see this mix. And while it does not taste like the fresh made falafel, it is a close second so. If you are craving falafel this is the mix to buy.

Most falafel mixes are high in salt. This one is much lower and does not sacrifice the taste, which is as good or better than competitors. The cardboard box holding the contents bag does not travel well and breaks when shipped in a padded envelope. The manufacturer should use more, or better, glue.

This product is delicious if prepared properly. Follow an instructions, and you can't go wrong.

It tastes awful, it's like they added laundry detergent to the mix. I added a bunch of extra spices and red onion, which made it taste quite a bit better but genuinely baffled at how it tastes out of the box.

Easy to cook and it’s delicious

There was a pasty type taste. No spices. I added 7 spice and garlic to mix and letting it sit in fridge overnight. Hopefully this will help flavor. Even so, I would not buy again. Other brands are much better.

It reminded me of my time in Kuwait. It is very close to authentic, just be careful mixing the ingredients and mindful of how the balls are formed
