Seems to be a great product. I plugged in and charged my camcorder battery and it was pretty quick. I don't have a need for the adapterplug for a foreign plug but I'm sure its great for those who need it. The car charger adapter is a great idea however and I'm sure I'll getsome use out of it.

I ordered this charger to minimize the prep time charging the six extended life batteries I own for my Sony cameras, as well as the provided batteries which came with the cameras. This charger is far more efficient than charging with a USB connection, or even the provided two-prong charger which works through the camera. I highly recommend this charger as it gets the job done, and naturally works with all compatible batteries.

A little difficult to mount the battery onto the charger. One it's on - it works very well. I like the A/C and 12 volt Car charger combo on thsi product. Worth the money!

This charger is NOT compatible with a Sony HDR-CX190 even though the product description says it is!Update: The charger itself says it's only compatible with FV50/70/100 however, I was able to get my battery for the HDR-CX190 charged with this charger. ( The battery is a FV30 )

Not a fast A/C charger. Plus it is hard to insert a battery to be charged. Once I figured out how to do it the right way it was OK. I don't think this is the best charger out there, but the price was right. So far no other problems.

Second one I bought since I lost the first one. They just work. These are a must have if you use any number of Sony camcorders and need a charger since Sony does not include one!

I bought this battery charger to charge my Np-fv30 batteries for my Hdr-cx230 sony handycam. At first I was not sure how to get the battery to fit in the charger. Thankfully the seller called me and taught me the proper way to push the battery into charger instead of sliding it in. I reccomend the charger.

Works as advertised, and comes with a handy dandy car adapter as well. Much needed accessory for all videographers who have more than one battery...the regular Sony charger requires charging via the handycam :(I have two concerns. Firstly, to load the battery requires a pushing/snapping technique that is not mentioned anywhere (other than the amazon reviews), so keep that in mind if you are trying to logically slide the battery in place. Secondly, I'm not sure about the build quality of the unit. The top bit slides off quite easily so that you can fit an adapter for another type of battery...even when you don't want it to. Hopefully this will not be a problem.
