How to make it REALLY stick
I really love this tape. I use it in industrial type situations all the time for different things and it holds up amazingly well. Recently I created a battery bank for a UPS and taped the batteries into a set so I could slide them in. It gets hot in that UPS regularly sitting at over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for years at a time, and this tape doesn't miss a beat. The set of batteries I pulled out from 2 years ago also had this tape on them and they were stuck together like new. No issues.I have even used these to tape down solar panels to the roof of one of my trailers and they haven't moved an inch. Here are some pro-tips to get this to stick to its highest potential:1. Prep. Yes, we all know it's a time vampire, but if you prep the surface correctly, it WILL stick like you won't believe. Not only should you clean the surface with soap and water and get all the gunk off, the real trick is right before you apply the tape, shoot it down with some denatured alcohol. Give the alcohol a minute or two to dry and stick this tape on. The alcohol removes all the contaminants from the surface and gives you pristine sticking power. The difference it makes is amazing.2. Cut an extra length to hang off each side because you're going to get fingerprints/oils/dirt on the very end of the tape. It's just a reality and what you do is leave yourself a half inch or so on each side and then trim it back with a razor blade when done and you'll keep that perfect bond.3. When trying to start pulling off the strip on the second side, use the edge of a razor blade or exacto knife or something to get underneath and lift (Don't pry... lift) and you'll be able to get it off without munging the end. If you followed step 2, you'll cut off the end where you might have made little marks with the razor blade anyway, and everything will be nice and clean and stick for a long time, in all kinds of adverse conditions.4. For the super paranoid, if you're using in particularly harsh or outdoor environments, run a bead of silicon over the mating surface edge after you've given this stuff time to set and you'll find that no water can intrude (even though it says waterproof, what no proof it some more?) and it will hang on to the surface for a very long time, even under reasonable load. This is some of best stuff you can buy, I use it any time I have a "Must hold" situation.I hope you found this helpful

High quality tape, very difficult to remove backing
This is a very high quality adhesive. I used it to place some acoustic panels on a concrete wall. The porous surface made it difficult for other adhesives to stick. But this tape has worked great for more than a year. When I had to remove it from the wall it did not rip the paint or left residue. The only issue which I don’t think is a deal breaker is that the red backing is fairly difficult to remove. My recommendation is to place the tape on the item and leave it for a while. Also using some fine tweezers helps because you can grab a corner and quickly rip it off which is better than slowly peeling it in my experience.

Powerful Tape
Excellent. I used this tape to vertically mount a knife rack on a subway tile kitchen backsplash. The rack is made of hardwood with a magnetic core, and weighs several pounds. It has been in place, now, for a month, with no signs of losing the firmness of its adhesion. I also used the tape to mount a half-pound, wood and brass fixture, on a painted wall. As of several weeks on, it remains firmly in-place.

So far great
Used this to hold heavy rubber tail gate protector for my p/u. I did not want to dry holes in new truck. I’ve just got it mounted and so far great but time will tell. I also put a great deal of weight on top of protector to help set the tape. It is very sticky. Supposed to be waterproof. I think it will be great

Mostly works, but difficult to use
I used this (or tried to use it) to hang up sound absorption panels on the wall. After a few days, one panel has fallen down and the rest are still up. So functionality it works pretty well for my purpose, but the one fallen panel makes me wonder if more will fall down in the future. Still, if that was the only issue, I'd give it four stars.I'm knocking off a star because I find it time-consumingly difficult to separate the backing from the tape. My fingernails aren't long enough to do this, so I use a sharp very thin knife. Maybe there's a better tool to use, but in any case, I certainly wouldn't call it "easy" to use, which is what the description says. I find that a double-sided tape called "Nano" is a lot easier to use as far as separating the tape from the backing, and zero panels fell down instead of one. The Nano tape is thicker so may not always be appropriate, but for my application, it worked much better, which is why I gave Nano five stars and this tape only three. An additional issue is that it's easy for this tape to get wrinkled, crinkled, or stick to itself in a way that is difficult or impossible to fix, so I recommend ordering more than you need for the job.

Holds Strong
Just what I needed! Finally a strong product to get the job done the first time. Holds strong and without issues of losing grip.

Does not live up to the well-deserved reputation of VHB tape
3M VHB tape has always been my go-to for mounting and repairs—I've had a solar panel stuck to the hood of my Jeep for years with the real stuff. This product looks like 3M VHB (it's labeled that way on the roll), but it definitely doesn’t perform like it. It's failed in every application I’ve tried, even low-stress mounts. I can’t say for sure whether it’s a knock-off, but based on my experience, I’d strongly recommend steering clear.
