Just the A-string I needed.
It's exactly what I needed. I relied on the Dominant name to a large extent and am not disappointed.

Winding had a dent when it arrived
It had a dent where you place your second finger for C. Because of that, it only lasted for 16 days. We are a frequent user of Dominant strings and we never had this problem before... I was very disappointed, I hope for better in the future.

I do like the sound once they mellow in
Installed this A string to replace one that broke (windings came apart at bridge). Replacement string broke above the nut in the purple thread windings. I don't know if these strings were stored in a hot warehouse or what, but the Perlon has been brittle twice in a row. I do like the sound once they mellow in. I tied the string above the nut and reinstalled. It's holding pitch, windings did not slip, and sounds fine but.... it's supposed to be brand new and this should not be happening.
