Having bought several cheaper versions over the years and watched the seat padding decompose , unexpectedly drop down when the piston failed and the hard plastic casters grind away myvinyl flooring before they themselves refused to budge, I thought maybe paying a bit more would be better.AND YES - it certainly was! This new stool was expensive (a relative term) but proved to be definitely worth the money.1. Easy to assemble2. Seat padding firm and twice as thick with quilted top and quality stitching above and below3. Heavy duty piston4. Metal (not plastic ) heavier base giving more stabilityNow for the best bit:5. Single castering and cushioned wheels fully functional on any floor ie wood, vinyl , ceramic , carpet (yes carpet ) - try that with the cheaper ones.6. Arrives well packaged (always a good sign) in three sections ,base, piston and seat for easy tool free assembly. Once assembled you won’t be able to separate it again , which means that if for any reason you have to return the stool , make that decision before assembly , otherwise ir won’t go back in the box.Happy Spinning!

Really easy to assemble. Comes in a sturdy box with 3 parts:1. The base (spider + wheels)2. The seat3. The stalk connecting seat to base.No screws/bolts. Things just insert into each other.The seat is plenty thick and comfortable.It feels good quality (and should do for the price).The height adjustment is more than enough for my relatively short legs!There are cheaper, there are more expensive.I think I chose well with this one.

Arrived on time and in good condition, very good quality, a little expensive but you know what they say you get what you pay for, very strong ,very comfortable, the only downside is that the casters are to good, not ideal if you want to stay in place,to make it perfect it should have locking casters,but apart from that it's perfect , happy with this purchase.

For a 22st chap this is a great way to get around our kitchen. With excellent wheels and a very good up & down seat position. It also doesn’t take up to much space when not in use.

Excellent construction, seat is well padded. Photos show full extent of height adjustment. Assembly was very easy with clear instructions included. All components were well covered with bubble wrap within strong cardboard box.

The media could not be loaded. This is very well built, sturdy, stable and high quality yet so simple to assemble. One of the castors was unattached when it arrived but very easy to put it back on. The rest just slotted together.The wheels are smooth and quiet and swivel easily to make it effortless to move across the floor. This save me so much more energy than my fixed stool in the kitchen. Perfect! Definitely worth the money as don’t feel it’s going to break easily with daily frequent use.
