I only have six chickens. I get about two to eight eggs per day. One basket usually can hold all of them unless it's a busy day. They are light and easy to carry. They are a little smaller than I expected but I like them a lot.

These baskets are really sitting and sturdy. perfect size for kids for picking quail/duck eggs. Theyre small so you'd only be able to fit 2-3 duck eggs (for a toddler.) Eggs might topple out if you put more in unless the kid is older and more careful. The only issue is that it came really dented but honestly, not worth doing the entire returns process to get a new set. For this reason, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I couldn't even straighten them out bc they're so sturdy. I got my husband to do it and he even said it was hard to shape them properly. So I'm confident they'll last for a while. The baskets I have now are round and slightly uneven but they work really well for the intended purposes. in my case, they are for toddlers to go out and collect eggs to be transferred into a bigger basket or into egg cartons.

The size is great! Very sturdy. We use baskets for our chicken eggs. Having 2 is perfect for keeping one by the coop.

I bought these for my grand kids who have 4 chickens. I filled them with goodies (for Easter) and now they use them to collect (4-5) eggs each day. They are sturdy and rigid so the eggs don’t spill out. Perfect!

I mean, why spend over ten bucks for two little egg baskets, when I could use old yogurt containers or any other such thing to bring in the eggs each evening? It seemed a bit precious... but actually, these have proved to be worth their money in every way. We have five chicken who lay 4-5 eggs/day, and we use both baskets, as storage for the most recent batch and as collecting vessel. It is great to have the handle, it is good to be able to see the eggs through the wires, the baskets are shaped well so eggs don't pile up on top of each other or crack each other...in general, a purchase that turned out to be more helpful and more joyfully and frequently used than I expected. And if you are buying not for eggs but for some other, more aesthetic use, I do still recommend. They're cute and of good quality.

My 2 year old uses this to carry the eggs into the house. We haven't had an egg break yet. I love how the handle turns so the basket always stays down. It's a great basket. We have 4 chickens, 4 eggs fit great. I've put 6 in but that's the limit for chicken eggs.

To small

When I receive these I was surprised at the size. I envision them to be a bit bigger however they are the perfect size if you are just going to use them for decoration. Personally I bought them to use as I have ducks and I purchased them to collect the eggs daily. I normally only get about three eggs a day and honestly that is about how many fit in this basket safely. If you are looking to use this in a utility way I would say perhaps find something else that is a bit bigger but if it’s for decoration purposes they are perfect.

This is a lovely little egg basket, the picture I've taken should give you an idea of the size. Perfect for what I wanted, collecting my quail's eggs. The colour is much lighter than I was expecting, I thought it would be closer to black, but that doesn't matter. Practical and very cute.

My daughter has a chicken coop in the yard. She only has four laying so far but we bought these baskets for her birthday. Good value

These baskets are soo cute I love them. They are big enough for 4-5 eggs but just adorable. If you want a large basket these are not for you! I only have a few eggs a day so it's perfect for me.
