I will try to keep this simple. It took me about five minutes to assemble this frame. It is absolutely sturdy, looks great, and has great room underneath for storage. I'm ~240 lbs and my wife is somewhere in the 140's (?... I'm smart enough not to ask). The frame supports us both fine. In fact, the only way I can imagine that this frame could fail is if you screw up the very few and very simple construction steps. It really is pretty idiot-proof. There are very few parts to this frame, which is great. It consists of two separate but identical halves that connect to each other at each end with a pair of bolts, rubber washers, and wing nuts. Once they are connected the entire frame moves as one piece. Each half of the frame folds in half (which makes moving it a breeze), with the middle legs extending straight down once the frame is fully extended. Each end has a pair of legs that then fold down and are supported by two braces that each connect to a bolt in the frame by a notch in the support bar, and then secured by a wing nut. If the legs on each end are not completely straight, then you did not tighten the wing nuts enough. That's about it. If you have a memory foam mattress, simply don't need a box spring, require storage under your bed frame, or just don't want to spend much money, this frame is what you want. I'm fairly confident that the old saying, "You get what you pay for..." does not apply to this frame. It's a great product and a great bargain.

Very good quality bed frame
This is a very good quality bed frame. It is sturdy and easy to put together. No squeaking sound so far. I would recommend it.

2 Years - Still Sturdy
I’ve owned this frame for two years and as I’ve moved around, it’s been easy to put together and take apart each time. I would be mindful of any washers or screws, bag them separately if you’re disassembling it. I appreciate that the legs dip away from the exterior ( never had a stubbed toe) Any vigorous movement (liking jumping jacks or bouncing toddlers) of the frame doesn’t cause any squeaky and remains in place. I have a full and it sits atop nicely. Wedged between the frame and my mattress is a separate futon to prevent any harm to my mattress. I’ve never placed my bare mattress on the metal frame itself, I’d rather not to preserve it. I'm unsure if it would get damage and I'd rather not experiment on something so pricey to find out. If I’d travel back in time, would I buy it again? Of course. It’s simple, allows me to transport it easily (if needed), sturdy, spacious underneath, and affordable for someone starting to settle in to their own home for the first time.

No squeaks and very sturdy
We purchased the California King size for a guest bedroom and also purchased a foam mattress to place on top. The frame has several supports to hold the mattress without sags or sways. The bed was easy to assemble, slide legs in place and secure and connect the two halves - all hardware included. Being all medal, we were impressed that there are no squeaks. A plus is the height of the frame as you have ample storage and plastic tubs slide and fit easily underneath. We are so pleased with the purchase that we have also purchased another to replace an old wood frame in another bedroom.

Its So Metal!
UPDATE: March, 2015. While I in no way regret this purchase, the bed has started to squeak a fair amount. It is only an issue when I am trying to be quiet at night (my house has 4 other people in it and everything echoes.) I am looking to upgrade to a sturdier bed frame in the next few months to replace this one, but it still seems like a worthwhile purchase. The product may last a lot longer without squeaks for those of you who are 220 lbs or less and I still recommend it thanks to the value and storage space. However, I am dropping my review from 5 stars to 4 stars because of this. Bought this to replace my box-spring and metal risers. Unbelievably satisfied with this product. Set-up took about 15 minutes by myself and required no tools. The bed matches up perfectly, no overhang on any side. The extra storage space is great. Your would be surprised how much you can put down there. I am about 300 lbs and tend to sleep on one side. There is no bending or tilting of the frame at all that I can perceive. The only real complaints I have are that the bedframe began to squeak at some points about 3 weeks after initial set-up and that my bed sometimes shifts a few inches each week. The squeaking was easily remedied by some WD-40 and, since the frame is against a wall, I just need to push the mattress against the wall to get it back in place. Overall I am insanely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it

Perfect height for a mattress with no box spring
Loads of room underneath for tall storage bins. Very sturdy, holds a lot of weight. Mattress kinda slides a bit, but it's only a couple inches and easily pushed back into place. I got a used frame and it was missing one of the butterfly nuts, but I'm about to contact the company to ask them to send me one. Even without, it seems to be very sturdy. Surprisingly lightweight and ridiculously easy to assemble. I mean, it took less than a minute and I probably could have carried it upstairs with one hand. Well worth the cost compared to slightly cheaper frames

awesome deal - better than expected | sturdy
so i was pretty skeptical at first when ordering a $90 bed frame, but not only was this the best price i could find, it was supposedly tall (approx 3ft) and had prime shipping, and “easy assemblage”. the frame arrived on time and my fiancée and i grabbed it really quick and went straight to setting it up. getting it out of the box isn’t too hard. there’s two pieces once you get it out, each half of the bed. they do have a correct orientation you will see in the directions and by looking, the sides with the curved edges face outwards, the flat sides / right angles sides face each other - and are the sides you will screw together. first you have to open the legs of each side, secure them in place with the parts it comes with. a screwdriver will make it easier but you could do it with your hands if you make sure it’s tight enough. you might also need someone to help you hold and secure the legs, i couldn’t do it myself. once they’re done you flip the sides over, line them up and screw them together. throw your mattress on top and you’re done! literally one of the best purchases i’ve made all year, it really is sturdy and hasn’t had any issues at all. but just in case i did get the warranty because that’s just how i am. 10/10 would re purchase and recommend to others.

Great mattress frame!
Works great for my queen mattress, easy to break down and store. I keep mine in the closet with the mattress for guests.
