A remarkable tome that literally covers everything you need to know, with super clear explanations and photographs. I found that Park Tools also has a YouTube channel that has multitudes of videos that cover nearly everything in the book to conjoin and help the novice and accomplished repairer alike. I’m really happy with this.

Must have for any cyclist who does his own maintenance .

Nice book, but defective print on first copy received. Got no chapter 5 and two chapter 8s. Returned for a replacement. UPDATE: Replacement arrived and very happy with the format and content.

Ideal for the non pro mechanic. A one stop shop for the vast majority of bike tweaks and repairs and avoids the search, pause and rewind of YouTube. Even better if you have Park Tool kit but not crucial - I have both.

Very well explained book with indepth coverage on many aspects of Bike maintenance and wheel building. Highly recommended read for the budding diyer and professional alike.

Handy for maintenance

A great reference guide for experienced or newbies to bike repair & maintenance. Park tool kit isn't the cheapest , but you get what you pay for in my opinion. I've just built my first road bike from the frame up, It was great to be able to have a book to hand for reference in my garage, when I don't have the opportunity to look to the internet for tuition.

Book is clear and concise. Great for home users or mechanics who haven't worked with new equipment out yet. Has pictures and diagrams. Very well done. Worth the money and great refresher on older systems also. Sits on book shelf or table for quick reference.
