I have not started work on it yet. But satisfied with molding and look. I buy several high end models at beginning if winter as snowy day projects.I served in SA Agulhas I and II. This model with very little changes with be painted in Agulhas I colours..

This model ship kit was very detailed with a lot of small parts. I enjoyed putting it together and it turned out well but this kit might not be right for everyone. The instructions were clear enough for me (see example pic). If you struggle with hand tremors, have bad eyesight, or have little experience building ships, the size of this ship (about 8 inches long, 1 inch wide) could be a real challenge for you. Supplies needed: Model paint, plastic model glue, tweezers, paintbrushes, acetone, black thread, scissors, and a small sharp knife for cutting out pieces.

The Soya ship arrived but it was half size to construct and not what I ordered according to the bigger1- 35 size. It is just to small to construct. Ronald E Papps

Box contains a lot of small detailed parts, the way they are molded is very good, for such a small ship the number of parts is immens.I also bought the photoetchwork for this model.

Fantastic kit, plenty of detail.

I brought this as a gift so can't comment on the final product but It looks great...smaller than I expected red but still looks like a modeller will enjoy building
